It's been just three months at the college, yet it feels like an amazing hustle I've been through. First and foremost, the academics at the college are not even a bit stressful. The labs and tutorials instill a feeling of innovation in you where you will feel like you are learning something every moment and developing yourself at a striking pace. The hostels, academics, and sports complexes are quite far away. We have been provided with bus services and cycles which have their own benefits. The faculty and staff members are quite interactive and are always ready to listen and help. There is no problem of hygiene as there are dustbins all around the campus and washrooms are also cleaned regularly. The environment is quite peaceful and we can regularly visit many nearby places such as Patna, Banaras, Gaya, etc. Also there are numerous clubs to pursue your interest. Seriously, you will be provided with so many opportunities that you have to prioritize one. The interactive sessions, competitions, club activities and meets are going to happen each and every day. Along with clubs, the college fests are the events worth looking forward to. We work to organize the event and develop many interpersonal and intrapersonal skills and after the fest we enjoy ourselves. The senior and alumni network is also very helpful in this growing IIT.

I have enrolled in the CSE dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) course. The first year at IIT is common for all the branches. For first year you have to study common subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electrical Science, Engineering Drawing, Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical Workshop, and Communicative Engineering. All these subjects lay the foundation for upcoming syllabus in further years and are divided into two semesters. From second year, the syllabus gets specific for particular branches. There is also an option for branch change after first year if you score well in first year. In CSE branch, we have a whole department dedicated to it which also includes students from Data Science in Artificial Intelligence. We have well established computer labs and libraries. Furthermore, the boom of AI and Computers has made me choose this course.

The faculty members here at IIT are well equipped with knowledge. All the professors have a good teaching and research experience in their respective fields. The professors take lectures in centralized AC lecture halls with appropriate lighting and charging ports. Professors generally teach on Smart Board with the help of slides and PDFs. They also point out important points to make notes of. We are also regularly provided with tutorial sheets which contain questions on the topics taught to us in lectures. The Teaching assistants which are currently PhD students in the college help us solve those sheets.

Yes, we have a great Training and Placement cell in the college. The placement cell actively looks for many internship and job opportunities for the students and also brings many courses to the college which would help students to grab better jobs and opportunities.

Yes, there and many hostels in the college, each with its own mess and common room area, separate for girls and boys. The hostel facilities are well maintained. All the water coolers, washing machines, elevators, electrical sockets are in perfectly working condition. The mess food is okay.

The Academics complex is very huge and involves many blocks specific to domains such as department of humanities, department of computer science, department of civil, mechanical, and all other branches of engineering also. There is a central lecture hall with six rooms of capacity 300 or more in which all the lectures and examinations are conducted. The Academics block is equipped with 10 GB bandwidth Wi-Fi provided by Government of Bihar. The central library is open at every hour and provide book on every topic. The administrative building contains many offices, banks and ATMs for easy of finance and evaluation.

The campus life is wonderful. The numerous club in the college such as Debate club, Fine Arts Club, Dance club, Drama Club, Coding Club, Robotics Club, Literary club, Finance Club, Music club and even Anime club provide infinite opportunities to enjoy and learn in college life. All the sport facilities are available to student all round the clock and all the courts and equipments are well maintained.
