I am Mohan, and I am in my 3rd year of engineering With IT specialization. So I took my admission to SKIT in 2018 by the process of REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process). This college is among the top-notched in Rajasthan, and even it's been ranked no. 1 college in Rajasthan for 3 years. Also, the faculties and studies are well known because of their knowledge. It has many rules but still, you'll find this college way better than any other. Also, it's NBA Accredited so it will help you to get the degree that is valid worldwide. This college is associated with RTU (Rajasthan Technical University) Kota. This college has a uniform system so it can be a nightmare for some students but on the other side a good method to dress-up.

I have joined the B.Tech course with the IT branch. I was eligible to apply with my JEE mains marks and also with 12th grades whichever you need. I joined B.Tech because I was having a passion for the computer field so engineering was my first choice to go for. And even you'll see more often IT sector is growing day by day so it's helpful to get the job. So I recommend you to join this course if you have a passion for engineering.

In my first year as we know in engineering, all the branches have the same subjects, so we have around 10-12 teachers per semester. Also overall teacher you'll see for only the first year is 60-70+. Also from 2nd year, we have become branch-specific so we have around 200+ faculty for all the branches and many of them have experience of more than 10 years in this field and you'll find even in placement cell they have experience of more than 20 years (since SKIT was established). Every faculty has a degree of B.Tech at least, some have M.Tech and even many of them are Ph.D holders. So we're very sure of teachers and they will give their best to teach you every possible subject.

The placement cell is very well and the placements are nearly 100% every year and this is for SKIT is known so yes we shouldn't worry about this. Top companies who recruit every year are TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Byju's, and many more. The average package varies from Rs. 2.6-3LPA. And highest is given by Byju's of Rs. 12 LPA which is the best one can have. So one can be assured that if you'll get admission to this college you'll have your best placements until you study.

Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls with the mess. Both of them are separate even with the mess. The total fees are around Rs. 93,000 per year including mess fees. The food quality is average like any other college mess, you'll be provided breakfast, lunch, dinner, and daily evening snacks. Also, security and rules are very much and on top priority for them so one has to maintain that. Else you'll have to find a suitable option for hostel and you can surely opt for this.

Our college campus area is very big. We have separate buildings for each branch like for CS, mechanical and civil. For the first year, we have a dedicated building where you'll study and feel comfortable as you are new student. There are 3 libraries, many laboratories, 5 auditoriums, and 100+ classes. We have a playground for cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, and even open gym areas where you can enjoy making up your body. For medical facilities, we have a separate room in each building for any emergency.

Overall college life is okay as per my experience but still, if you are the person who doesn't like rules then this college isn't for you as they are so many rules which will make you feel hectic. Also, we have many clubs, fests every year which will make your college life memorable and you'll grow up as the best individual.
