Maitreyi College is situated in Chankyapuri, South Delhi. The entire atmosphere is surrounded with greenery and most importantly it is an open area. Maitreyi ranks 35th by NIRF. It falls under NAAC Accreditation with grade A. Being a part of Delhi University, the admission procedure it quite simple. One has to register himself or herself at Delhi University website. The university releases the cut off list as per the candidate's 12th percentage. The list will range accordingly and a candidate will have to apply at the college campus according to their cut off percentage. The college management is quite cooperative and supports queries of students.

I joined Bachelors of Arts programme. If your percentage will be according to the cut off list then apply to the same course and college and report to the allotted college with your improvement documents. Yes, in order to become a teacher this course of graduation is important and helpful as well.

There plenty number of faculty members for each course. Each one of them is PhD qualified and has more than 5 years of experience. They teach their subjects with interests and pay attention to each query of the students.

There are no placement options for science stream students. But there are opportunities for Commerce and Arts students. Nearly 50 percent of the students got placed from commerce sections. There were also some internship programs for students from Ranbaxy and other companies that offered students an opportunity to work. They received approximately a stipend of 10 thousand rupees.

There is no hostel facility in our college. The only food facility one can receive is from the college canteen where one can enjoy delightful meals.

The area is quite big. The building structure and infrastructure is quite clean and amazing. Plus it is situated in South Delhi close to some other colleges as well. It is a safe place to hang out. There is medical support system. The canteen food is tasty and serves various options. There is ground for sports. The laboratory is well equipped and computer labs are air conditioned. There is a library that have all kinds of books that a student needs. The books kept are of updated versions.

College life is amazing when you engage yourself in co curricular activities. Annually the college holds a fest that organizes many competitions for students. Maitreyi college is known for its fashion society. There are other societies as well that helps many students to grow their ability to interact with other people. Moreover, it helps them to take responsibility.
