All about HMR Institute

Overall Rating
Placements are worst. No college life. Some teachers are really good. Hostel is not available. If you like sports then don’t come here, there are no sports facilities available, and college has a really small ground. College canteen food is not good, and it also does not have much on its menu. Number of chairs is also less in canteen.
 

Academics Rating
Here, students can easily get into CSE branch. Academics are not good. You have to rely on our own self only, faculties do not have a good teaching skill and also, they do not have knowledge of the subject they are teaching. Students watch YouTube playlists of different YouTube channels before exams to pass the exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers keep on changing, in a single semester more than 3 teachers changed once. Internal marking is biased. Teaching skill is not good; they are not experts of the subject they are teaching. But there are some teachers who are really helpful to students and will help you whenever you need them. Some teachers have a really helpful nature.
 

Placement Rating
No company visit the college campus personally for on campus placements, companies visit for pool campus where students of most of the GGSIPU colleges can apply, and competition is high as compared to on campus. Packages offered are really as low as 2.75 LPA, and most of the high package placements are from off campus.
 

Hostel Rating
We do not have any residential facilities on our campus, but you can stay as a paying guest nearby, there are PGs near the college. College does not have any hostel of its own.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Different labs and equipment are available. Building has a lift. Worst part is the college ground, college ground is very small, and you cannot play anything there because students are also sitting on the small ground at the same time. They also shut the lift to save electricity or make it for faculties only.
 

Campus Rating
There are different clubs and societies in the clubs. But the leaders of those societies made them for their own benefit, other students cannot really benefit from those societies, college life is almost zero. But yes, if you have made some real good friends, you can make memories, obviously out of the campus.

    HMR Institute of Technology & Management was established in the year 2002. The institute is famous for its placement support. Every year around 75 to 80% students get placed in different core companies. They provide 17 UG and 3 PG course with 765+ seats.     The overall experience of HMR Institute of Technology and Management is one of the guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University affiliated college. They provide 17 undergraduate courses and 3 post-graduation courses. They have 765+ seats. There is a connectivity issue though. It is situated in Hamidpur and the nearest metro station from there is samaypur badli metro station and is 6km away.... Read Full Review
