All about Thapar University

Overall Rating
The overall experience at Thapar University Patiala was really good. The teachers were really supportive, and I enjoyed my 4 years of engineering at the campus. Apart from that it was near to my place that too made me took admission there. And the environment is too friendly. Lot of students does come there to study.
 

Academics Rating
There are many courses offered by the institute such as BE in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical and various core branches such as Civil and Mechanical is also there. Entry requirements are simple just the student has to appear in JEE mains and has 70% aggregate marks could get admission there.
 

Faculty Rating
Really great faculty members are provided having a lot of experience in the teaching. Some of them are ex IITians that do teach there. The course is well designed by the institute that includes effective focus on each and every area of engineering. Practical labs are conducted that do help in understanding the concept properly.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in the institute where various companies come. In campus placements are really good at Thapar.
 

Hostel Rating
Residential facilities are also provided inside the campus itself. Various different hostels are there separately for boys and girls. Infrastructure and the facilities are up to the mark.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is 250-acre huge campus having academic block, different blocks consisting different classes for labs and a big library is also there. Different lecture Pavilion and lecture theaters are there wherein the classes are conducted. The academic section does handle all the academic related problems of the students.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life at Thapar institute of engineering is really good. The atmosphere is clean and friendly. Different fests are conducted every week by different societies that do help students indulge in different activities. Regular society fests are held, and different sports related games are also conducted.

    Thapar University, Patiala has a very good reputation overall. I personally liked it very much. The infrastructure is also very modern and good. The campus is also really beautiful.     Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is a top ranked college with a huge infrastructure. It is one of the best Engineering colleges in India. The placement rate is above 85%.     The overall college experience has gone really good till now. I am in the first year and I have really enjoyed each and every small moment that has occurred to me. Our curriculum is well structured and designed as per the current industry basis.
