My admissions were done through the cap round of CET exam from Maharashtra in Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur. Campus was not big, but it was decent. Classrooms were cleaned every day. Teaching staff of Walchand institute of technology was good as compared to other colleges in Solapur. Lectures were taking regularly and in practical sessions students were observed by Teachers individually. Assignments are given after completion of every chapter. Attendance is strictly observed in college. ID card is must in college, if not then there is no entry in college.

Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur is one of the top colleges in Solapur city. This college in much better than other colleges in Solapur. In Walchand Institute of Technology 60%-70% of seats are reserved for Jain Minority and remaining 30%-40% seats are booked by CET cell of Maharashtra. The required percentile of CET for getting Computer Science Engineering seat is above 90percentile.

Teaching staff is the plus point for Walchand Institute of Technology. The teaching method of teachers is different. Every teacher has their own way of teaching. Some teachers use projector to show images/videos relevant to topics so that topic should be understand by students. Most of the teacher use English or Hindi language while teaching, as students come from other cities too.

Walchand Institute of Technology has 2 buildings one of them has Mechanical and Civil Engineering branch and the other building is divided for Computer Science Engineering department, Information Technology department, Electronics and Telecommunications department and also the new branch Computer and Electronics Branch. Library of Walchand Institute of Technology is much bigger than any other colleges in Solapur. There is much space for parking of two wheelers and four wheelers. Canteen is decent in the Walchand Institute of Technology.

In Walchand Institute of Technology, from second year in every month there are two programs or fests conducted by either college or any other clubs. Last year Infosys springboard had collaboration with Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur to give free learning courses for students of any department. Students gets support from teachers too, in participation of any fests or club also they get rewards too.
