St. Xavier's College is a brand in itself everybody knows that infrastructure is very good and the best thing about this college is its discipline. College management is very strict about the discipline in the campus. The college has a beautiful campus including three cafeterias, sports ground, and library. This college is affiliated to Ranchi University and follows their norms. The admission process is quite similar to other colleges an admission test is organised and the then a personal interview for some departments like BBA.

I am a student of Economics Hons and I enjoyed this course, the reason behind choosing this course is that I wanted to do MBA after my graduation and as you all know economics has a very broad scope that's why I opted for this. The course is good and according to my expectations it includes 6 semesters and you have to pass in each semester and one more thing attendance is very compulsory in this college if you do not have 75 attendance then you will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

There are about 14 faculties in my course and all of them is a genius in all aspects they are very helpful and polite you can always take help from them. There are approx 120 or more than that faculties in our college. All teachers are well educated and had a PhD degree with them. Yes, they teach us very well and their approach to the subject is quite impressive.

Actually there is a placement cell in my college but to be honest there is no any placement in this course but you will definitely get a placement in other departments like B.Com, and other departments. As I told you there is no any placement in my department that's why I have not that much information about it.

Yes there is hostel facility available for boys only, there is no hostel for girls. But boys hostel is available and it is inside the campus and it costs about Rs. 85,000 per year, as I never stayed in college hostel that why I don't know that much about its food and other facilities.

I don't know the exact area of my college but it is a very big campus it consists of 4 buildings one auditorium, a library, computer lab, science lab and so many other things. Class rooms are very big and well ventilated and every classroom has its smart board. The college has its football ground volleyball ground, basketball ground, cricket ground and a badminton ground. There is a medical sick room also available in the campus.

Overall campus life is very good, we all can never forget this experience the best part of my life is these three years which I spent here. There are 5 clubs in this college in which you can do a lot of things to improve yourself, make new friends take part in different activities, I joined the Rotaract club of St. Xavier's College Ranchi, and believe me I enjoyed a lot and also do a lot of things like organising events taking part in different activities and for that you will also get certificates. Every year college organise a fest of three days and all students enjoy it.
