My dream college - NITK

Overall Rating
I am studying at Nation Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka. As I am here for 2 months, I am experiencing a very good culture, nature, and infrastructure here. Students come here from all over the India as this college is one of top 5 NITs. I chose this particular college because of its environment and all other things like faculties and all. Others should also come here as it is giving a very good culture, best faculties, best alumni and all, so in short It is a very beautiful campus.
 

Academics Rating
As it is one of the top NITs. The academics here are excellent. I am particularly here in mechanical engineering department. So I am studying p-cycle as odd semester here for reading purpose here, there are two libraries. One is e-library where you study on your electronic gadgets like phones and laptops. And the other one is as usual book reading library. The quantity of books at library is very high.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at National Institute of Technology has an impressive educational background and they are very good at research also. They teach in such a way that you can easily understand. Many of them teach on PPT which would be useful for us in future also. The faculty is very friendly with students, and they clear each and every doubt of students.
 

Placement Rating
National institute of technology Karnataka has a very good Placement Cell. The top-notch companies like Microsoft, DE Shaw, Uber, Arcesium, Amazon, Oracle, Google India, IOCL, BPCL, GAIL, BEL, BEML, CDOT and CDAC, etc. Almost 95-99% of the students are placed here from core branches. And also, non-core is placed at decent packages .in short placements are also very good at NITK.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities also at NITK. As a top NIT here living in hostel is truly a best experience.
 

Infrastructure Rating
NITK is developing institute, and many new buildings are there, and many are in construction. New central research named building is constructed which has a number of rare instruments to do experiments. Apart from main building there is another building names CIDS where classes are held. There are many hostel blocks, mega towers and many other buildings as hostels.
 

Campus Rating
As NITK is a very beautiful campus. It is known for its grand fests and cultural fest. The main two fests here conducted are engineer and incident. Here you get a number of clubs to join in which you are interested. You can get here many sports to play, and you can get many other engagement activities.
