Overall a nice place to study

Overall Rating
Well, in my school days, I heard that Ravenshaw University is renowned; hence I chose to study here. I won’t regret the experiences; Ravenshaw is indeed, unique in its own accord. Its environment, its population, its culture and surroundings, and the new peers you will gain, everything will certainly be a new experience.
 

Academics Rating
The courses available are decent. And the entry requirements are also decent. All is all; one should have a mindset that after 12th class, you will have to study yourself, as the teachers won’t always be there for you. If you will join any science department, just read Kalyani Publication books, and you will score good. Although, entry requirements are decent enough that you can find pretty good students here too.
 

Faculty Rating
There is a group of famed faculties in Ravenshaw. Also, some faculties (note "some") are as a helpful as the teachers in school level. But, alas, some of the departments, well as far as I know, meet the required number of faculties, so, it becomes a problem now and then. But the HODs try their best so that we don’t feel anything unusual. I hope the lack of faculty members is solved as quickly as possible.
 

Placement Rating
Not that good placement opportunities, but if you want banking jobs or the same sorts, then they will be available. Computer science department gets the best opportunities in placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is pretty good. Each hostel has unity in diversity. And there are no political agendas or anything, and no hardcore elections in the whole of ravenshaw, so that a better thing. Hostels are rather peaceful most of the time. And the hostels also hold cultural and sports activities too.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Of course, infrastructure is old. Ravenshaw is nearly 100-150 years old. But there is constancy in remodeling and mending of infrastructures, so no problem occurs in that. All the departments are connected to each other, and there is a big front lawn, back lawn, and a large field, and an exercise park, and indoor sports hall, and gyms (male and female). So, not lacking in any way.
 

Campus Rating
All over the year, a lot of cultural activities and sports activities are held, so one can have a lot of opportunities to flourish in any field they want. Clubs are still not profound yet, though you can join them, and they are active and lively too. You can feel the real crowd of Ravenshaw, when bigger events happen. You can feel the energy of the crowd at those times.

    Ok, First of all I'm new in Ravenshaw. I'm basically a fresher but I know Ravenshaw very well. First of all please congratulate our college for obtaining A++ from NAAC it was a very proud moment for all the Ravenshawvian.
