WIT: Best Engineering College in Solapur

Overall Rating
This college is the best college located in Solapur district. And it ranks at 55th college in Maharashtra for engineering courses. The courses offered here are Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering. I recommend you join this college as it has good placement record. And the highest package this year 2023 is 12.5 LPA on-campuses.
 

Academics Rating
Course requirements: MHT CET score should be above 90.9284800 percentile. Then only you are eligible to join the course if computer science and engineering. Other courses are available at lesser score. For civil: 50 percentiles, for information technology: 86 For Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: 76 Mechanical & Automation Engineering: 59 and for Electronics and Computer Engineering: 77.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty for each subject includes around 2-4 professors. Every professor's style of teaching is different. All the professors are good in communication with the students. Some professors are too good in teaching and are friendly in nature. Professors have completed their master's and PhD in their respective fields and then started teaching as a lecturer.
 

Placement Rating
This college includes a Placement Cell. The all-time highest package in the college is 35.47 LPA in Amazon company which was secured by a CSE student. The placement cell helps students in preparing for the interviews during placement of the companies.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college campus is spread over 17 acres in the city center. It has good infrastructure. New classes are under construction for including new branches in the college. The built quality of classes is appreciable. The voice of professors is audible till the last benches. Grounds for games like cricket, football, badminton, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball is provided inside the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is the best here. The crowd is normal here. Various clubs like Learn Out Loud (LOL) for coding, sports club, competition like Stroke for sports, Event parties like Atharva, Euphoria, etc. are being conducted every year. Festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Paryushan Parv are being celebrated in college.

    It is Jain minority College. If you are Jain you will get admission with low score. There also privilege to SC, ST, and other caste. If your father's income is less than 8 lakhs College fees are approx. 65 thousand else you have to pay approx. 1 lakh 10 thousand. And for SC ST college fees is approx. 20 thousand.
