Overall Rating
It's overall a good college to study and it's a big government university and most renowned one in Odisha and also the first engineering college in Odisha since 1956. Apart from this, there is good infrastructure and have best faculties for students. Big library for students to study freely. Also, the staff is very supportive.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are quite good as well as challenging too. Because in VSSUT Academics are like street to follow and that's why every year there are many ranks holder and topper are found in any field or any competitive exams. Teachers have to finish all the courses in the given timeline. After that so many quizzes and assignments are given for only students to become easier to score the good marks and overall betterment of skills.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are the best ones found in this campus of VSSUT. These faculties are always ready for the help and support students at any moment any time which is the best thing which I found very interesting in my point of view. And also, they are all focus oriented persons which is good for this college. Because that only help to make focus and attention the students on their study.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is decent we can say. Because after all it's a tier 3 college. So, we should not expect too much from this college in terms of placements and packages. But as compared to other colleges in Odisha its lies in very good condition apart from IIT and NIT.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are fun if I describe in one word. Because only we can know and learn something that we never expect or did in our life and also make memorable moments out there. There are 7 boys' hostels and 4 girls' hostels which. Are decent to be live. And yes, mess foods are quite good. So, we can easily survive at least for 4 years.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In terms of infrastructure, it’s above average. Because it’s in developing condition. And also, we are trying to make this government technical University to central funded technical institute. So yes, it’s under development. But that doesn't mean there is nothing in VSSUT, this college has better infrastructure as compared to other government colleges.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is best I would say. Whether it is in remote location area not in any city after that it’s the best place to enjoy the campus life. There seems so many clubs to gain knowledge, gym are there to make your body strong, swimming pool for enjoyment along with your friends, playgrounds to play (all kinds of games) so many things to enjoy.
