About ECE in MMMUT

Overall Rating
I have taken admission in year 2020 through MET. But now admission though JEE mains are eligible for B.Tech course. In 2020 there was Covid period, so classes were held in online mode only in our first year. Campus has large areas and CSA which stands for council of students' activities which has large area for activities and indoor and outdoor stadium are also available.
 

Academics Rating
In B.Tech, ECE is also a good branch other than CSE, IT, etc. If anyone has taken ECE then don't worry about ECE branch you can go through tech and non tech both. There is an OIT lab and drone lab and interested student can join and learn their dream things. ECE has much scope in designing and developing electronic system.
 

Faculty Rating
In our first year, there was online classes and we have faced many difficulties, but the faculties have taken classes regularly and accordingly to timetables. Online test and quiz were super and after Covid classes runs in offline mode according to timetable in regular base 75% attendance is mandatory.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, in MMMUT there is a Placement Cell which is known as TNP which stands for training and placement cell. College is releasing every year placement record anyone can go through and see.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 7 boys’ hostels and hostels are allotted according to year of pursuing course and hostel is just awesome and mess also.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic block of MMMUT is just awesome and there is also a new Administrator block. Academic block is also good. Every department has a separate building and department library. Central library is also present in the campus, which is very useful for students and self-studies, but library is open from 9am to 8pm.
 

Campus Rating
The campus of MMMUT has large area and a stadium which is Sahid Bandhu Singh stadium which is awesome and activities like cricket, football, hockey and many more is held. There are many events like Tech Srijan, Abhyuday, and many society events are also held. And Many clubs are also in the campus.

    MMMUT Gorakhpur is better in many aspects. But some things need to be modified and updated. It provides good opportunities to every students. The first advantage, which I preferred when I was choosing the university, was that it is a government institution and provides good return of investment.     I could not perform so well in JEE. Though, I had decent rank so I got admission in MMMUT. As my father is a civil engineer so I chose same to pursue. I was obviously disappointed with my JEE performance but I was surprised with the teachings of professional there. Though in first year, most of the teachers are guest faculty but from second year, you will be only taught by professors and I guarantee you they are best.     Facilities and infrastructure are good at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the seminar rooms of our department are also in pretty good condition.   • Getting into CSE at MMMUT Gorakhpur Through JEE Main
     

    Overall Rating
    It is a state government Technical University that comes under UP govt. It is off course a wonderful college which has NIRF ranking of 84 in engineering category. My overall experience is good. I chose this college because of its placement. In the previous year one of my senior got placed in Google for 52 LPA. Average package of this University is 6.5 LPA and median package of CSE is almost 11.2 LPA. All the professors are very helpful. Everything in the campus goes on with the academic calendar...
