In 2020, I made a deliberate choice to enroll in Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology. Back then, the college's placement scenario was exceptionally promising, which greatly influenced my decision. Additionally, I was fortunate to secure a seat in my preferred academic program, and the institution's stellar alumni network was an added bonus. While the college's infrastructure may not be extravagant, it adequately serves its purpose. It's a testament to the university's commitment to substance over style. When considering the return on investment in terms of rank and fees, Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology emerges as the superior choice compared to other private and government colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

I'm pursuing a Bachelor's in Technology in the Computer Science and Engineering branch. Admissions are primarily based on JEE mains, with a provision for lateral entry into the second year through a separate counseling round and spot round. My primary goal was to secure a seat in a government college, specifically in the Computer Science Engineering program.

The faculty at my institution is undoubtedly well-qualified and educated. While they may not always be the most supportive, the quality of education they impart is commendable. The teaching often involves guest faculties who assist professors in conducting classes. The grading system adopted by professors strikes a reasonable balance between leniency and toughness. All in all, the faculty is solid in delivering a good educational experience.

The university's placement has been impacted by the recession, but we remain optimistic, given the excellent track record in previous years, and anticipate a brighter future ahead.

The campus boasts 5 girls' hostels, with 3 being older and 2 newer ones. These hostels offer various amenities such as mess facilities, water coolers, treatment plants, and geysers. Accommodation ranges from 3 to 4 girls per room. Additionally, there are 7 boys' hostels with similar amenities.

The majority of our department buildings have a long-standing history, except for the Computer Science and Information Technology facilities. Remarkably, they have weathered the years and are still in remarkable condition. Just this month, we celebrated the inauguration of a brand-new academic block, a momentous occasion graced by the honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Our campus offers a plethora of amenities for students' convenience, including a fully equipped dispensary, indoor and outdoor sports stadiums, a helipad for special occasions, a versatile multipurpose hall, and a cafeteria to cater to our diverse tastes, an Amul store for dairy delights, and a stationary shop for all academic needs. Furthermore, each of our hostels boasts a convenient canteen, ensuring that students have access to nourishing meals without hassle.

Our campus is adorned with lush greenery, although it might not be as expansive as indicated on the website. It thrives with vibrant life, hosting numerous annual fests such as technical, cultural, and robotics fests that bring our community together. Additionally, there's a rich array of societies and clubs, including the dance club, music club, dramatics club, sports society, IEEE chapter, Entrepreneur Cell, and University Innovation Cell, all offering diverse opportunities for students to explore their passions and interests.
