Overall college is pretty decent to join. It totally depends on student’s choice. My suggestion doesn’t make it a first option and keep it for last plan. The location of the university is the disadvantage of its placement as compared to collages in Bhubaneswar Cuttack with better communication facilities. So overall study point of view collage is good join.

Academics are pretty decent. We have latest subjects included in our syllabus like AI ML and latest upgrades in every branch. Exams are conducted twice for each semester mid semester and end semester. Moreover, for the extracurricular activities and further development of student, many clubs are also present in college like robotics society, IIC, Entrepreneurship cell which encourages the student to push his or her skills further.

Faculties in the college are pretty decent. In some semester especially in the beginning very low-quality teachers are appointed who don't teach anything at all. But in the late semesters especially in the 3rd year and final year you will encounter some of the best professors in your life who are extremely knowledgeable and will support you in every other aspect apart from career. Further they don't give backlogs to students, and they make the student pass if you have a good impression on them. Do don't worry about the faculties in conclusion they are highly qualified almost everyone is a PhD.

Yes, we have Placement Cell. Placement is decent in our university. As of now placement of IT companies are less due to global recession. But core placement is average.

Hostel residence facilities are pretty average. Infrastructure is not good. You have a great hostel life.

College infrastructure is average as compared to other private colleges, NITs and IITs. It’s in developing stage as State government offer 2000cr project for development which is expected to be completed within 10 years. It is begging planned to make a closed campus as of IIT and NITS, this will immensely be helpful in NIRF ranking upliftment. It recently having the old architecture, but development is ongoing.

You will have the best campus life here in VSSUT. You will meet all kinds of people here and you can share bonds with them. Girls are very friendly here and there used to be groups of boys and girls in every branch. Teachers are like your friends they will help you in every aspect. The most interesting chapter is VSSUT hostel where you will do all kinds of entertainment. People here enjoy all kinds of intoxication like weed alcohol cigarette so don't fall into those traps.
