Genuine opinion of Silicon

Overall Rating
I took admission on the basis of Odisha JEE rank here and the cutoff rank is below 600 and around 60-70 seats are there. The students are studying here are also clear CAT exam most of the times. So, this is the best college among all the colleges in Odisha. So that I took admissions in this college.
 

Academics Rating
Our course is all about Master of Computer Application, so we have to study about operating system and architecture, coding language such as C, C++, Java, etc, other than that DSA i.e., Data Structure and Algorithm, Web Development, HTML, CSS and others. Entry requirements for this course are OJEE rank.
 

Faculty Rating
All of the faculty members of our department are fabulous in teaching, co-operative in study and helping as a friend. They clear all of our doubts even if asked multiple times, as long as they are not fully cleared. They give us questions for homework and also solve them in class. They all have PhD degree.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, of course we have IICELL for placement; I think we are in safe hands.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, residential facilities are very good, and food is awesome.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have 2 main buildings named as south building i.e., CSE building and a south building i.e., ECE building. We have our classes in north building most of the times, we have a huge library comprising more than 3k books, and we love reading there. We even borrow books for as long as we want for our studies.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is beautiful, hygiene, peaceful and enormous. We have sports grounds and courts for volleyball, basketball, badminton, football, cricket nets and field etc. Food is really good and nutritious also. We also have friendly seniors who are more like a brother to us, helps in all things related to campus, hostel, and studies.

    Our college is one of the best institutes in Odisha and its NIRF ranking is 151. I have selected one the basis of JEE Rank, so I got admission here.     Students are taking admission in silicon in MCA course in the basis of OJEE rank. The rank must be under 600 and I got selected on the basis of that. The average package in this college is about 5-6 lakh so many students want to take admission on that. And this college is one of the best institutes in Odisha.... Read Full Review

    The college is placed near the cyber hub of Bhubaneswar with a very good transport facility. The college atmosphere is very good and best for self-study and the academic is one of the best in the city.     Overall Rating
    The campus area is small compared to other colleges. Environment is good and there are no such ragging incidents. Teachers are very good, and they teach very well. Hostel is not good. Rather you can live in PG. College is very serious about placement, but they give more focus to computer related branches. Select yours accordingly.... Read Full Review
