VSSUT Burla Review

Overall Rating
Overall review which I want to give is VSSUT is an amazing college with great campus Life, and you will learn a lot of things as time pass by. It will give you time to explore yourself a lot and choose the right career path for yourself. Teachers are very motivating and encourage you to try new things and they also don't give backlogs.
 

Academics Rating
Course fee is pretty less like 18k per semester and if you get good rank below 90k you can easily get admission in any branch you can choose like Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Metallurgy, Civil and Mechanical, and Chemical. Teachers are not that good maximum of them just don't teach well. But YouTube is a good support medium. If you want to get admission in VSSUT be prepared to prepare for CAT or GATE exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is overall good I realize after 7 semesters. Some of them just don't know anything but still they assigned to take classes. But some teachers have brilliant knowledge, and they teach really good and put all their efforts in making you understand. Labs are also pretty decent. They combine academic theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge for your better understanding of the subject. All facilities are maximum PhD, and some are still pursuing PhD and some professors also have publication in IEEE.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is pretty decent. We have a Placement Cell in our college which brings all kinds of companies including IT semiconductor and electrical core companies.
 

Hostel Rating
We have 6 hostels in our campus. Facilities are excellent nowadays. Overall, you will have a good hostel life.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is something that the college is working on. It has sustained 60yrs old infrastructure and currently new academic buildings are being built with new departments also under construction. We have a big college canteen and coffee shop also and now a cafe is also being built in the college campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is something you will enjoy the most apart from studies. You will connect with many new people and friends. You will learn how to live life only through VSSUT. We have an auditorium for some functions and cultural and technical fest are conducted every year technical fest is samavesh and cultural fest is vassaut in which stars are invited for our enjoyment.

    This institute has everything that you need. Best campus, best faculties, best clubs, and best infrastructure. The clubs are vibrant and awesome. I got a decent percentile in JEE mains exam which is basically an engineering entrance exam. So I decided to get into this college because it was near to my house.     My overall experience is superb till now. Everything is good from hostel life to college life you will make new friends and overcome many fears like communication skills. Sometimes I get fed up with hostel food but you have to adjust as we living in hostel and had come to fulfill our dreams but there are many food stalls outside hostel so nothing to worry about food.     VSSUT is the oldest engineering college in Odisha, providing various technical courses. Its academics and reputation is what attracts students.     Well this institute is one of the top universities in Odisha after IIT, NIT, and IIIT. This college is government college and it is affordable. I choose this college as this college was most suited for my rank. This college provides various extracurricular activities as it has more than 15 clubs like e-cell, vibrance, souls, etc....
