My genuine opinion IIIT R

Overall Rating
So, I joined IIIT RANCHI in August and it’s been 1 month here. My overall experience here is good. Overall it’s the worth joining here. If we take in consideration of the college campus then it’s not good since it doesn't have permanent campus. Seniors does not live with the first year student. Therefore, we have less interaction with them.
 

Academics Rating
Academic is also good here. We have the same syllabus here for 1st and 2nd semester for both CSE and ECE students. We have 4 sections in which all the students of all branch students study together. We don’t have any specific problems. We are provided CSE and ECE lab 1 each in a week. ECE lab is a bit difficult as it’s our first time here.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are here so much friendly. Some of them try to act like a professor but they are not. Some of the professors are very good even they give the time to solve our personal doubts in their cabin. They support students in every aspect. They are literally good in every aspect. We have two teachers for physics, one for CSE and lab teachers are separate.
 

Placement Rating
Placement ratio is excellent. Last year we had highest package of 83 LPA and an average of 18 for CSE and 17 for ECE students. If someone studies a bit like only for passing the semester, he or she can definitely crack a good package.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are in flats. In each flat there are 2 washrooms, 2 rooms with hall that can occupy 6 students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Since it does not have permanent campus, its doesn’t have a good infrastructure. However, in the upcoming days it will have a very good campus as well as infrastructure. However, apart from that, the current infrastructure is also good we can say. According to some sources, it is believed that we have our permanent campus till 2025.
 

Campus Rating
We have so many clubs. We are confused that which one we should join. Tech clubs, culture clubs, anime clubs, etc. Tech club have different wings for AL/ML, web dev, robotics, product design, and management cyber security and block chain. We also have competitive programming wing also. In addition, seniors are supportive.

    The reason to choose the college was very simple and that was the placements of the college. Our college has average placement of ₹16.83 lakh.     I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering because my rank didn't allow me to do CSE (I wasn't interested in ECE) and the lecturer to student ratio is 64:1. If one is only interested in placements, then only one should join this IIIT. College life is negligible. One should enrol in NITs if they want to enjoy college life.... Read Full Review

    The college provides a conducive environment for study and experienced teachers. The institute offers a rigorous curriculum that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in the IT industry. The campus is equipped with normal facilities, including laboratories, a library, and other resources that enhance the learning experience. The mess food is average in the college....   • Thoughts on IIIT
     

    Overall Rating
    Overall, a good college with decent college life and placement and outside market is available for necessary things. Classes have centralized AC but only fan is functioning, one ground is available for playing, mess food is satisfactory, and hostel is very good compared to IIT and NIT. Teachers are very helpful....
