I chose this institute cause of NIT title also it is in top 7 NITs among 31 NIT’s. The course offered by this NIT is almost same as others but here what extra is Textile Technology Branch which is only in IIT Delhi and NIT Jalandhar. Anyone who wants to choose unique branch for other government, or any exam preparation can choose it. It is moderate branch with less stress than other branches also cutoff of this branch is slightly low than other branches. I choose this branch because of rank and want to develop personality by leaving home state. It is really good thing that I have done in my life.

NIT Jalandhar provides various courses like CSE, IT, Data Science, ECE, EE, Mechanical, Civil, BIO, IPE, and TT are the courses provided by NITJ. Whereas TT (Textile Technology) is only course which is only provided by NITJ other than IITD. NITJ is top 7 among 31 NIT's so cutoff is slightly high for CSE and IT but here home state quota reserved 50% of seats for HS. Eligibility to enter in this institute is clearing JEE with a good rank and 75% in Boards. Motive to choose this institute is that you can learn new things and develop your overall personality.

In my course (TT) Faculties are bit old so their rules are slightly different than young professors. Faculties in TT are well knowledge and supportive to students also they participate in various events which are conducted by only students. But old faculties mean you have to follow their rules and also, they are strict towards students to gain knowledge from them. Their style of teaching is modern which has surprised me too but for sure they will deduct your marks for misbehaving in class.

Yes, In NITJ, companies are recruiting students on the basis of CGPA and Skills Test. Like overall big companies allow you to give test. Only matters that you should have coding skill and have CGPA above 7.5 for clearing company’s cutoff. Placement cell invites various companies to visit and recruit brilliant students. Average percentage of getting selected in companies in NITJ is 75% to 77%.

Yes, Hostel facilities are really good in NITJ also each hostel has their own community for helping students and solves problems which is related to hostel and mess. Hostels conduct various events like sport's competition between hostels and organise various spiritual event for relief from stress. Overall, my experience is that it feels like home which is really important.

Infrastructure of NITJ is really good. New building has been constructed and some are under construction. Overall, it has AC's have modern teaching facilities and students can give their review for better experience and improvement in their infrastructure. Each Course has their own Building. But for ICE, ECE and EE have same building but biggest in campus. It is fully modern building.

In NITJ Campus life is really good and enjoying. Club's Like TCA, TTA are organised Cultural and Technical Events in campus like TCA Organised biggest cultural Fest (Utkansh) and TTA organised Biggest Technical Fest (Techniti) also other clubs like beware, Netra, etc. All clubs are organised their event form weekly basis to engaged students to participate in their club also important is that students can enjoy the event. Recently, TCA Organised (Rain Dance with DJ) and Sanskriti Club organised (Ganesh Visarjan with DJ Rally) which is first time organised after corona period. You can enjoy and organised various events by joining respective clubs.
