All about WIT, Solapur

Overall Rating
I am from Solapur city itself and WIT; Solapur is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra and the best choice for Solapur local as well as students from nearby places. It has good campus and good hostel service available as well. It has good teaching, and the faculty is really great, they are very friendly.
 

Academics Rating
I opted for ENTC which is Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. This college has many courses like CSE (Computer Science), IT (Information technology), ENTC, ECE (Electronics and Computer engineering), Civil Engineering, and Mechanical engineering. This college has entry requirements like any other colleges like for students can get in through Exams like CET OR JEE I opted for ENTC as I have interest in Core Electronics (and also because I didn't get admission for CSE).
 

Faculty Rating
The college has good faculty but as you know there are always exceptions. I am studying in 2nd year and currently I have 6 subjects out of which faculty for 4 subjects is really great but for the 2 remaining subject we have to do our own self-study. And the important thing to mention is if anyone wants to go into the IT fields for jobs and all they should get extra classes outside of college i.e., Online or offline coaching classes for Computer languages like Python, java, etc. are given.
 

Placement Rating
As I said I am currently studying in 2nd year and don’t know much about the question asked but I have inquired my seniors that the college has good Placement Cell which has helped 1000's of students acquire jobs across many years.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a local so I can't say much about hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In WIT, Solapur the infrastructure is really nice, and the environment is pleasant inside the college. It has a big library which can accommodate many students and all the books required for the studies will be present in the library and can be accessed with a small deposit. The buildings and the classrooms, benches, and all the required facilities are available.
 

Campus Rating
WIT, Solapur has a ton of events like freshers' party was held recently which was called Euphoria and was a great and successful event and many cultural events competitions like hackathon and many more are held through the year and many festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, etc. are celebrated with great passion and interest from everyone.

    Walchand Institute of Technology is the best college in Solapur with NAAC grade of A+. Since I wanted to study in Solapur and not outside , therefore I chose this college.     It is Jain minority College. If you are Jain you will get admission with low score. There also privilege to SC, ST, and other caste. If your father's income is less than 8 lakhs College fees are approx. 65 thousand else you have to pay approx. 1 lakh 10 thousand. And for SC ST college fees is approx. 20 thousand.
