LPU B.Tech Review By Sree Harsha Lakkappagari

When I passed my Intermediate with 98.2 percentages. My next question was what is next? Which university should I join? I applied for many colleges and gave entrance exams. I got approval for some colleges, but I didn't like the course they were offering. Then I came across LPU, Jalandhar and gave exam. I got some good score, and then my next question was How LPU is. Then I started searching for opinions of different individuals about LPU, In the search I met a senior, who was studying 3rd year B.Tech CSE. He said that LPU has excellent infrastructure. But here the actual problem comes. As I reside from South It was my first time to go to North. Language problem is the barrier. but luckily, I know Hindi pretty much. So, I sustained, and it is my 3rd year right now. Everything going pretty well.

At starting of admission, I and my father had a question about which course to opt, and then we discussed with many people and decided to go with B.Tech CSE. B.Tech CSE has different branch and honors, but I chose core out of them. The eligibility was entrance exam. I passed it with good score and got 30 percent scholarship that was 34000.

Coming to faculty, here is very good. They are having pretty good knowledge. There are different sectors of faculty, some have done graduation, some have done MBA, and some have done MSC etc. They have so much patience because they have 5-6 sections and 70-80 students for each section. They teach practical part along with theory.

Yes, it has pretty good placements. But at least it depends on individual's skills.

Hostels here are not good or not bad, it's average. They take 50k to 1lakh for hostel fees. But rooms are Average here.

The best part of LPU has is best Infrastructure which many colleges are lacking in India. It is fully surrounded with Greenery. It has centralized library for students who wants to study. It is also equipped with labs for practicals. It has mall named uni mall, where all kinds of things are available like mobile, SIM card, etc.

Campus life is pretty good. Again, it depends on different individuals. If you are living in hostel, it is secure and safe from illegal activities like drugs, alcohol etc. But if you are leaving outside, it is not safe according to me. Because I stay in hostel with my friends which has all facilities like mess, library, etc.
