My 1-year experience

Overall Rating
Overall, my experience in LPU is amazing. It has an amazing campus life it supports both academic and co-circular actives. It provides NCC training within the campus in which army officers come to train the students. The academic teaching is also very well, and infrastructure is the most attracting thing about LPU university.
 

Academics Rating
I got myself enrolled in the B.Tech Computer Science Engineering. After completion of my class 12th exam, I visited the LPU official site, and I got to know about the scholarship exam conducted by the LPU named as LPUNEST. We were given 2 attempts to qualify the scholarship exam with examination fees of 1000. The eligibity was quite simple 60% marks in class 12.
 

Faculty Rating
Talking about the faculty, it depends on teacher to teacher some were very interactive, but some were not. But all the teachers teach using their own laptops and taking the class in the projector room. So, everyone could see it. They used to teach us from the PDFs and PPTs. Some of the teachers were passed out students from LPU only.
 

Placement Rating
The average placements provide by the university was of 6 LPA. And the highest in campus package went up to 64 LPA. There is a very tough competition in LPU itself as around 5-10K students sit for the placement exam and company demands only of 1K students. So, it’s hard to clear the whole placement exam and interview. But LPU have contacts with very large number of companies. So, students get placed in 90%-92% rate.
 

Hostel Rating
LPU have 6 boys’ hostel and 6 girls’ hostel. Each hostel is divided into A, B, and C block. Boys' hostels have 9 floors and girls' hostel have 5-6 floors. LPU provide 4, 3, 2, 1-seater rooms and it also have 2 buildings known has apartments were staff member of LPU live in which students could also live. Rate of hostel is 70K and mess is 45K. But mess food is not that good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
LPU have one the best infrastructure in whole India. Its campus is about 600 acres with total of 56 blocks. It has best computer labs, malls, and library. It also has dance clubs for the event organisation and entertainment. For games it has badminton, football, swimming, shooting, and cricket. Everything to the finest in terms of infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
LPU campus like is very amazing, every week or within a month it invites the celebrity or the motivational speakers to boost the student confidence. And it let the students itself to organize and manage the event. It ogranises play, drama, Indian and western dances, international trips for the events.

    To be honest this college was not my first choice I attempted IPMAT exam for admission in IIM Indore but couldn't crack it. So I went through lot of websites on internet and came across LPU. They were providing this course under 15 lakhs whereas other colleges like Nirma had fees up to 30 lakhs. When I came to University I was amazed to see it's beautiful campus, large and surrounded by gardens and trees. People from all over India are there in LPU and there is no ragging.   • LPU Jalandhar Placement Opportunities with Top MNCs

    LPU offers you an average university experience. The curriculum is good. The infrastructure is nice. Classes are comfortable. But it lacks in campus life. There are less number of class tours, industrial visits, or picnics. The factor that made me choose or opt for LPU Jalandhar is the it provides at exposure all India level.     The overall experience that I observed here is a good facility and the advanced technology used. The largest campus with good infrastructure and good environment and I found it better than others because of the placement records. In comparison to other states University it always is a top one.
