Perfect place for graduation - LPU

Overall Rating
This institute will give amazing experience, affordable fee with scholarships and exposure is what made me choose LPU. If you are from a middle-class family and looking for best quality education in private college, you must come here. It has also recently verified as NAAC A++. It promotes sports at high level, and they get additional benefits.
 

Academics Rating
For entry in any course, you must write LPUNEST which is conducted offline in centers as well as online mode. You can also join through boards and JEE mains and accordingly you will get scholarships. I got 38% scholarship from LPUNEST. Software engineering demand is growing hence I joined this program. Also, the placement is quite good here.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here teaches in very frank and understandable way. They use smartboards, PPTs and YouTube videos to teach us. Some teachers take quiz after every class to make the student practice for tests and mid-terms. These tests help for revision as well as important topics with high weight age to focus on. Mentors are also provided to each student for any non-academic related issue if any.
 

Placement Rating
The campus has a Placement Cell Department which continuously focuses on the placement of students. They charge some amount for this. They will conduct various workshops and teach you interview etiquettes before an interview. Communication skills are taught and flourished as these skills are the most important in an interview.
 

Hostel Rating
The college has 7 boys and girls' hostel. You will get room choice from 1 to 6 seaters including dormitories. Mess fee is taken separately but in the same hostel. Salons, xerox shops, canteen and laundry are separate for each hostel inside each.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The buildings and infrastructure are awesome. Statues and waterfalls, food courts everywhere, robot park are the center of attraction. There are two big auditoriums for guest speakers and inaugurations. Hospital provides free consultation. Buildings are distributed according to the branch of students to avoid rush. You will find mess and stalls at each academic block too.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is the best here and you will remember and miss it when you graduate. There are over 30k plus students here. Clubs and societies will help you find your inner potential and represent if they are really good in national and international level as well. You will get academic benefits as well if you will represent you college outside.

    To be honest this college was not my first choice I attempted IPMAT exam for admission in IIM Indore but couldn't crack it. So I went through lot of websites on internet and came across LPU. They were providing this course under 15 lakhs whereas other colleges like Nirma had fees up to 30 lakhs. When I came to University I was amazed to see it's beautiful campus, large and surrounded by gardens and trees. People from all over India are there in LPU and there is no ragging.     LPU offers you an average university experience. The curriculum is good. The infrastructure is nice. Classes are comfortable. But it lacks in campus life. There are less number of class tours, industrial visits, or picnics. The factor that made me choose or opt for LPU Jalandhar is the it provides at exposure all India level.     The overall experience that I observed here is a good facility and the advanced technology used. The largest campus with good infrastructure and good environment and I found it better than others because of the placement records. In comparison to other states University it always is a top one.
