PIET -a college in Delhi NCR

Overall Rating
College is average but fees are at too much higher while if you look for placements; you will definitely regret for it. I chose B.Tech from this college on suggestion of my friend who is already studying there. College connectivity is very good, just 70 Kms far from Delhi. It also comes in Delhi NCR area.
 

Academics Rating
Requirements for joining in B.Tech program is, you need to give JEE or HSSE, with more than 50% + in boards. Go on PIET website and just register yourself with your academic details, college will directly contact you. There is also management quota available. I have enrolled in B.Tech from computer and science engineering on the recommendation of my teachers.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good in behavior, qualified and experienced. Their style of teaching is also convincing to students; but in 1st year you will get mostly all new teachers. Teachers in college have done B.Tech or M.Tech, few professors have also written books in collaboration with other big authors.
 

Placement Rating
College has a Placement Cell, which works well but fails in providing tech related jobs, they invite sales-based job companies. College offers an average package of 2 to 5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good, having all facilities like high-speed internet, canteen, average mess, and row, water, air -conditioned rooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In same campus, there are too many buildings. Like one building for pharmacy courses, 1 building for civil, CSE, 3 buildings for boys' hostels and three for girls. CSE building has latest labs for every subject, incubation center, startup cell, Wi-Fi, seminar hall, 1 auditorium. College has an open theatre also where all programs are organised.
 

Campus Rating
Institute campus life is enjoyable, but campus area is too small just 22 acres. AND having all courses building in same campus is a mess; it creates a huge, crowded environment in college. There are 2 actively working clubs in our college. Mestros and CARBUNCLE are two fests in our college. Both fests are organised at a gap of 5 to 6 months every year for freshers and last year students.

    The overall experience in the PIET college is overall good. The staff of this college is very supportive. This college has the best infrastructure, I have ever seen.     First of all the reason to join this college was that it was close to my city (Panipat) which is just 25km away from the college and as a day scholar it was very easy to up and down as the transportation is given me the college itself (yes there are buses from college that goes to city) for some reason I was not able to go far from home or basically stay in hostel so I had to pick up this one up.     Experience is overall good for me but if you want to take admission in Haryana, so you should take admission in this college because this institute is best in the Haryana.     College is overall good. Teachers are cooperative and helpful. Library is very well furnished and spacious. Classrooms are clean and large. There are various seminar halls and seminars are conducted at regular intervals regarding future courses and the specialization courses.
