Utkal - a nice college

Overall Rating
The university covers 437sq. ft area. Its educational environment is really very nice. It is the oldest University of the Odisha. Skills and training are provided by each department. Cultural programs are held on the festival season. Many students go to national level in sports. There is also politics involved in the campus.
 

Academics Rating
The course in Integrated MBA which includes BBA and MBA. In which BBA is of 3 years and MBA is of 2 years with specialisation. A student must qualify his/her 10th and 12th with minimum of 60% marks. An entrance exam is conducted to get selected. Lateral entry is also available after BBA. It is very reputed university.
 

Faculty Rating
There are 8 permanent faculties. Also, 14 faculties on contractual basis. All are Ph.D qualified having a great knowledge. They are very kindhearted towards the students. They do extracurricular activities to improve student’s skill. They also use presentation method to teach. They also conduct group discussion.
 

Placement Rating
There is very less placement. But we can say it average, which is 3 to 4 LPA. There are like 5 to 6 companies that come for placement. Many students also placed.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 60 rooms and 2 students in each room. 18 common bathroom rooms. There is a canteen also but close. There is a common room in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Utkal University is of 437sq.ft. There are 44 departments. One administrative building which is very big and beautiful. A library and n e-library are also available. A park is also available. There are 2 national banks available in the campus. There are 2 markets available. There are 7 boys’ hostels and 6 girl's hostels.
 

Campus Rating
There is a canteen in the center of the campus. Many students gather there at morning and evening time for breakfast and snacks. Tea stalls are also available for corporate employees who do their jobs near campus. There are many fests like glory fest. Utkal Vasant. Nua khai bhet are also conducted. There are approximately 7000 students studying here.

    Utkal University is definitely a good choice if one is passionate about clearing government exams or interested in Odisha Judicial Services.     My overall review is I would say this is a very old and reputed institute in Odisha and the environment is very good and the campus life is just awesome.     University Law College (ULC) is one of the Constituent Institutes under the oldest University of Odisha that is Utkal University.     Overall Rating
    Utkal University is the first and only University in odisha which got NAAC A+ rating. Campus is very beautiful, but maximum part is covered with trees. It focuses mainly on PG Courses.
