Good for studies: IIIT Bhubaneshwar

Overall Rating
This college is great known for its location at which it is situated near the city of temple Bhubhneshwar which is the capital city of Odisha. Placement in this college is quite good if you are from branch like Computer Science and Electronics. Faculty of our college is very supportive and there is tutor guardian culture is followed here. 50% seats are reserved for home state candidate for which a exam is taken and rest of admission in our college is taken on two bases of JEE main rank.
 

Academics Rating
As other IITs, academics of our college are quite hectic and busy. Classes are held from 9 to 5. 75 percent attendance is must if you don't want to detain in semester exams. Various new upgradation is there is course offered at International Institute of Information Technology Bhubaneswar as compared to charming institute like NITs and IITs.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is well qualified and experienced in their respective domain. There is tutor guardian culture followed here which is very supportive to student. There are department like Computer Engineering, CSE, ECE, IT, etc. are there in our college whose faculty are good and experienced. Sometimes they do take online classes in the case they are not present but percentage of classes getting cancelled is very low.
 

Placement Rating
Placement of our college is quite good. The highest package for CSE in 2022 is approximately 25 LPA and average is 11 LPA. The highest package of 2023 is 39 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Aakash, CGI, and Zycus, recruit from our college.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels in our college are huge a charming beautiful seen or view can be seen from terrace. You will get triple occupancy hostel room with separate almirah and chair to each till second year. Talking about mess you have to take coupons for each week via paying money if you forget to take then you have managed your food for the rest of week.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus area of our college is 50 acre which is well managed and maintained. You don't have to travel much in between the classes and hostels. Government of Odisha holds the authority for providing funding to college. There is central as well as departmental library in college. As this Institute is established in 2006 so hostel and campus seem new and modern.
 

Campus Rating
Advaita is our annual techno cultural fest hosted in the first week of March which is very popular and famous among us. College is well connected to city so your city life will not be compromised. Also, boys to girl ratio in our college are not bad neither good also. There are various clubs and society in our college which you join and boost your experience of college life.

    Overall, this college has both advantages and disadvantages. It has a partially good infrastructure and good teachers. It has a partially well college life but in the end, you will enjoy every part of it. It is not like IITs or NITs so it can’t be compared to them but I expected the campus area to be bigger....     In my opinion, IIIT-Bhubaneswar is just like a normal college. Of course, it is under Odisha Government and has its own funding, benefits, pretty decent infrastructure, etc. But don't be amazed by the name international and all. Also, don't expect too much like IITs and top NITs. It was established only in 2006. So, looking into the development, it’s a good job done by the institute to adapt within this time span....     Overall Rating
    The institute has decent faculties and lab facilities. There are 8+ societies encouraging cultural, sports, films, art, and other interests. The total area of college is small but students are also less than other engineering colleges because our institute offers limited B.Tech courses as other IIITs. For students who got their percentiles between 93 to 96 in JEE Mains, this is a good option. I would advise students who are interested in coding this could be a nice option.... Read Full Review

    Overall Rating
    The campus of Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhubaneswar is a small campus i.e. of size 25 acres even though the campus life is beautiful and enjoying. Last was a recession year even though we got nearly 80 per cent placements in every branch. I didn't score good percentile and good marks in JEE mains and JEE Advanced so I have chosen this college because it is best one for my rank.... Read Full Review
