A grateful experience at IIITG

Overall Rating
The overall institute experience is not bad, the Institute mainly focuses on education, but we can indulge in club activities and sports. I opted for this college mainly for the placements, placements in the college are good for both the branches, and faculty in the institute are experienced and well trained. The facilities and labs are up to the mark in the college.
 

Academics Rating
There are two branches CSE and ECE, branch size of CSE is around 180 and for ECE it is around 80. First 2 semesters are common for the whole batch and the next 6 semesters there are taught based on their respective branches we can opt for a branch change after the 2 semesters, we can work on any field the materials required are provided by the college.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members here are well experienced and have a good teaching practice, they are student-friendly, most of them are IITians and some of them did their Ph.D in IITs and the TAs are very friendly and well experienced. We can contact any of the faculty in any time they are ready to help. There are mentors assigned to every student who guides through.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, it really helps the students to acquire jobs in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
Coming to the hostel, there are 3 boys and one girl’s hostel which are having their respective mess service.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic block consists of a library, labs, lecture galleries and classrooms. There is an auditorium, and the student activity center is presently under construction. There are sports facilities indoors and outdoors we can play games like chess, carom, TT, cricket, volleyball, and football. There is always scope for the club activities presently all the club activities are taking place in the academic building.
 

Campus Rating
The overall college is good with education and sports balanced on either side. There will be a cultural fest and a technical fest, and the monsoon semester mainly focuses on education whereas the winter semester indulges all the activities including sports, fests and club activities are part of the student activities. There are clubs for dance, music sports, robotics, programming and many more.

    I have chosen this particular institute because the courses that are offered here are different than other colleges. The faculty is highly qualified and it is also a main reason. The placements in this college are good and this college is ranked in top 7 IIIT's. So I also suggest the students to join this college for their bright future and for enhancing the skills....     Overall the college is good for academic and placements, but the hostel life is not good. Here, the weather is very cold in the winter which is difficult to survive. The college has a sports club and the students can participate in different games like cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc. The fests that are organised in the college are also good....
