My real Experience at MANIT

Overall Rating
As an esteemed and prestigious college, MANIT holds a reputed position in the good books of most of the MNC's and organizations. But it also disappoints in some respects which are also important as academics like poor hostel facilities, survivable food and a fearful environment of ragging. Overall, the institute has very impressive placements and I as a 1st year student recommend this college to join because MANIT also focuses on non-academic activities and hence you can follow your passion here too along with the Curriculum.
 

Academics Rating
In academics point of view MANIT acquire a wide range of courses to pursue like B.Tech in various branches, B.Arch, B.Plan, and their master's and further Ph.D & MBA etc. To pursue any program, you have to qualify JEE Mains with the required percentile criteria for the various branches. As it is a government college, so its degree has a great impact on the recruiter. Here you will get quality education as the professors are highly skilled.
 

Faculty Rating
In faculty aspects, MANIT has a great image. College has separate department for every branch and high skilled professors who have mastered their subjects from very reputed colleges. Also, MANIT makes the practical development of student very smooth as the faculties are always available in the labs and the equipment also matches the requirements of the students and the guidance by staff makes the concept easy to understand.
 

Placement Rating
Placements at MANIT are shining day by day. MANIT has great opportunities for startups and entrepreneurship. Also, the campus packages are showing rapid increment not only for some branches, but it also has high placement rate in all the departments. Also, ample number of companies comes for recruitment, so students have very many chances to get placed.
 

Hostel Rating
When it comes to hostel life MANIT's glory is getting faded. Infrastructure is not that good but survivable. Water supply is not available in some washrooms, or it has been cut sometimes. You can access internet only if you are working in 1-2 meters range of the router. Mess food is unhygienic, and you can't expect taste from them. Also, games room lack equipment.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MANIT has one of the biggest campuses with the area of 650 acres. A big amount of part does not have infrastructure. It consists of 12 hostels with 10 boys’ hostel and 2 girl’s hostels. The departments and teaching blocks are well constructed but it is not the same for hostels. It has beautiful parks and many canteens also for student's outings. Greenery in the campus also looks attractive. MANIT also provides space for startup projects inside the campus.
 

Campus Rating
In our college, there are many cultural, spiritual, internship oriented and social societies in which students can participate to enhance life skills. Fests are also organised at regular intervals like Maffick, Technosport, etc. The hostels which are allotted to 1st year are too far from the teaching block and also bicycles are not allowed to freshers makes it very tiring to go for classes and return in the breaks. Overall, the campus life is good enough at MANIT.

    MANIT is a college with huge campus of around 650 acres, located in the midst of Bhopal. My journey at MANIT so far has been both exiting and enlightening. Being located at a plateau with full of greenery, makes the campus much beautiful and attractive. MANIT has good infrastructure with all facilities. What makes it special is its great campus life and amazing placement. Overall, it gives a good atmosphere to learn, grow and have unforgettable memories. However, there is a room for improvement ...     I choose Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal because it have great placement like, almost every student got placed with very good package. MANIT also have 650 + acres of lush green campus, here we have very pure and clean environment. Teachers are not so good but okay. Hostel services are also very good but for fresher they do not allow to go outside other than class time.... Read Full Review

    Overall a great college, I mean it's an institute of national importance so it is a hub of opportunities and different clubs will help you to excel in the field you are interested in, you can also play your favorite games and represent your college in different events, if you want to explore it’s a great college but the only disadvantage you will not get much freedom in 1st year you can't leave the hostel because of ragging....
