An Overview of NIT K

Overall Rating
My experience in this college is amazing. I am learning new things and I am growing day by day. I chose this particular institute because of two main reasons. The alumni network of this college is very strong and the campus is very beautiful and lush green. In addition, the placement stats of this college are decent.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I enrolled in the B.Tech and my branch is Production and Industrial Engineering. To get admission one must clear JEE MAINS entrance exam. This Program provides a very promising career. The branch Production and Industrial Engineering is related to Manufacturing and Industrial Management.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members teaching me in my course are all PhD qualified. Many of them have over 15 to 20 years experience. Some HODs even have 25+ years of teaching experience. Their ways of teaching are unique and they have immense knowledge about their field. PhD graduates who are working under the Professors teach to first year students some subjects.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell of my college is called TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL. It really helps the students get their dream jobs with decent package. The average package of my college is 13-14 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have hostel facilities in campus. Hostel Fees along with food is nearly 30000 per semester. The infrastructure of the hostel is good and all the sports facilities are provided. We have common rooms for Television and other activities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have one academic block, which contains Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities department. The starting from Academic Block is a long corridor along which we have Electrical Dept, Mechanical, Civil, Applied Mechanics, etc departments. We have LHC (Lecture Hall Complex) for daily classes. We have Golden Jubilee Administrative Building for all administrative work.
 

Campus Rating
The overall crowd is very good. There are various clubs in the college like Photography Club, Managing and Directing Club, etc. We have clubs for all sorts of activities like singing, dancing, acting and many activities that are fun. We also have technical societies like Robotics Society, Industry and Entrepreneurship Cell.

    National Institute of Technology is good in my opinion if you are looking for NIT's in the northern India. The Institute is accompanied by beautiful lush green campus although there is a drawback which is that one person has to face some kind of difficulty for coming to this Institute by public transport. The 1st semester of the Institute contains of 4-5 month only and time spends very fast. The class’s timings are generally from 9 AM to 5PM in evening. In between we have lunch break and somet...     The overall experience at the institute is great. You have good peers, great exposure, decent placements and a competitive environment. The environment here pushes you to work hard as well as peers are supportive. One exclusive thing is that here bonds between seniors and juniors is commendable. They are always ready to help you.     My thoughts regarding this college are very clear. This is the best college in Haryana. The greenery is awesome. This college provides us lot of opportunities and they did many fests. I really enjoyed so much in the fests. The seniors and the faculty members are really very good. Their behavior is very nice. The teaching style of some teachers is really good.
