My honest review of HAU

Overall Rating
As this Institute is very famous in the agriculture field, I took admission in this Institute. This Institute is very good in all the activities like sports, adventure, and education. This university is first in the area in Haryana. The teachers are very cooperative with the students, they guides us what to do in the future. There is great opportunity in government and private sector after completion of the degree.
 

Academics Rating
This include various types of course include agronomy, entomology, agro meteorology, soil science, dry land cultivation, micro logy, pathology, extension, economics etc. For the entry university conduct the exam and the students who clear the cut off may take admission in it. Students who have medical or non-medical in 12 are eligible for the exam. The main motive is making the students’ entrepreneur so that they become self-dependent.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very good and polite by nature and has professional knowledge about their individual subjects. Their style of teaching is quite good. They make it more practical for the students, take all the doubts, and solve them. They are expert in their subjects.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there have a placement cell at university, which helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. They make placement of the students in various agriculture sector, branches like IFFCO, NABARD, FCI, FSSAI, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
The university has residential facility like hostel, canteen, and mess with all required convenience. The hostel are multistory have room with fan, almirah, chairs and a table or sleeping bed. The washrooms provided are neat and clean. The mess has balanced food with quality.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are many academic blocks of different departments like entomology, agronomy, horticulture, farm machinery in the college of agriculture. The buildings are multistoried with solar panels gazette. Other amenities are like sports ground, swimming pool, horse riding, faculty club, dsw buildings, fields of all crop, etc.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is very beautiful with all the facilities having trees on both sides of the road and also have parks, clubs, food shops, party hall, event hall, etc. The campus is not much crowded. Everything is fine and fantastic for the point of view. There are good placement opportunities I will recommend it.

    I was a medical student; I chose this college as it suited my background and was offering a great academic experience and a fascinating scope in future. It has great campus with amazing sites and a really helping faculty, provides quite good practical knowledge about agriculture.   • My real experience at CCSHAU
     

    Overall Rating
    I admitted in this university in year 2020. For taking admission we have to clear entrance exam. This degree is for 4 years with first three years it provides practical and theoretical knowledge about the agriculture and related alliances. This university also provides academic as well as excellence in sports too. It provides good platform for sports person as well as for further higher studies. This university is very large....     Overall Rating
    I chose this college because I didn't get admission in medical college due to lack of optimum number of marks to get admission in a reputed medical college. This institute has many pros along with few cons. Our university has many colleges like College of Agriculture, College of Agriculture Engineering, College of Fisheries, College of Community Science, and College of Basic Science.   • Agriculture as a career choice

    The campus of CCSHAU Hisar, the largest agricultural university of Asia, is really good and it is approximately in 4300 acres. It’s a lush, green and serene place with a placid environment. The place is suitable for studies, sports and other extracurricular activities. Music, sports and debate clubs are there with a nice level of involvement.
