Genuine opinion on NIET

Overall Rating
I had an amazing experience at NIET. I chose this college because it is highly reputed and well decorated with recognition college in North India. Everyone should go for NIET if there is any doubt with private colleges in North India for Engineering. It made a very positive transformation in my academic career and helped to improve myself.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering through lateral entry in 2020. I got admission through AKTU entrance examination. Eligibility is very simple you just need a decent score in your recently passed examination. I got admission through my 84% marks in diploma engineering. There is scholarship for meritorious students too.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is quite Fresh and Energetic. They tend to deliver their best to educate with best-suited knowledge to student. Most of the faculty have more than 5+ years of teaching experience in technical fields. Their practical knowledge also helped students to succeed at other careers. They have very easy and eye catching style of imparting skills to students with real life examples of their own.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, There is placement cell in NIET that works to help student to be placed in high-decorated institution and industries to grow in career. It also helped me to get placed through placement drive with a handsome package of 5Lpa at beginning.
 

Hostel Rating
There are hostel facilities but seats are a bit less as compared to no. of students enrolled academically.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Overall Infrastructure is well decorated and maintained. There are academic block marked as A, B, C, D, etc. They are cafeteria and canteens that have all type of meal and snacks of every taste. There is a huge library facility with ample availability of books of both technical and non-technical genre. If you travel with your own car or bike there are parking facilities too.
 

Campus Rating
I had cherishing campus life. Everyone was very welcoming when I was new in NIET. Never thought everything would be just easy and well going. I had made a lot of connections with both seniors, juniors, and faculty members. Crowd is very much intermixed and helpful whenever there is any fest or cultural events organised. There are many clubs to help new comers to feel homely with others.

    Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology is overall good. It is little bit stricter than other institutes nearby but the academics of the institute are quite good and there is no issue about the academics. Institute environment is also good.     NIET provides the best learning environment compared to other NCR colleges. Since it is an autonomous institution, hence there are many advantages that students get from it like, syllabus based on industry required skills. Overall Placements are good! This institution is different from many others like it is autonomous. Syllabus is made by the college management which is based on the Industrial skill requirements.     NIET college is good for skills development, as there are various interesting extracurricular activities which develop skills in a student. They mainly focus on Speaking skills as it is very important to improve our vocabulary skills as MNC hires those employees who have proper knowledge of communication and knowledge of how to interact with people.     Strong placement record, experienced faculties, Clean Environment, transportation services are also very good. One of the best Institutes that I have seen in Greater Noida. There are lots of fests organized in this Institute and the students are also nice. They come from a very good family background.     NIET is a good institute when it comes to placements. Admission in NIET is mainly done through AKTU counseling and courses are allotted through the JEE rank. The first year fee submitted in the institute during admission was 179000 rupees, which includes tuition fee, exam fee, student welfare charges and many more. In addition, the institute hostel charges are different based on AC/Non AC. the hostel fee for 4 seater is 93600 rupees. For fees waivers, it is 60000 for first year and 40000 from th...
