A genuine and honest opinion

Overall Rating
I was a medical student; I chose this college as it suited my background and was offering a great academic experience and a fascinating scope in future. It has great campus with amazing sites and a really helping faculty, provides quite good practical knowledge about agriculture. If someone from medical background is interested in pursuing studies in agriculture, he/she must opt this college as it offers amazing overall experience, knowledge and skills.
 

Academics Rating
Bachelor's in agriculture aims at studying subjects related to agriculture and its practical applications in the field. For pursuing this course, one must be from science background in his /her high school, should be citizen of India and must have passed the 12th board examinations with minimum 60%. Entrance test is held for admission in the course which includes physics chemistry and biology for medical students and maths for non-medical ones.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is one the major strengths of this college. Faculty members are most helpful and experienced people. Most of the professors are scientists and have done extensive research in their respected fields, thus have great knowledge and experience about their work. Scientists and assistant scientists would be teaching the courses in which they have achieved great success and have performed extensive research work thus academics is never overlooked in this college.
 

Placement Rating
Currently, there is no Placement Cell in the college.
 

Hostel Rating
Residential facilities that are separate hostels for boys are girls are there in the campus. 4-5 hostels for each boy and girls are there in which students of bachelors, master's and Ph.D scholars reside. Mess facilities are available in each hostel with overall nice food. Overall, infrastructure and hostel life is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different colleges in the same campus that are College of Agriculture, Community Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Fisheries, etc. Each college has its separate building and all the facilities within. A library is also present in the campus which is one of the largest libraries of Asia.
 

Campus Rating
University campus is quite a good one, it has various sites for strolling and evening walks. Various canteens and cafeterias are also available in the campus where healthy juices as well as junk food are available. University has its own pond that is itself a site to behold. Its serene environment can make anyone’s day better.

    I admitted in this university in year 2020. For taking admission we have to clear entrance exam. This degree is for 4 years with first three years it provides practical and theoretical knowledge about the agriculture and related alliances. This university also provides academic as well as excellence in sports too. It provides good platform for sports person as well as for further higher studies. This university is very large....     I chose this college because I didn't get admission in medical college due to lack of optimum number of marks to get admission in a reputed medical college. This institute has many pros along with few cons. Our university has many colleges like College of Agriculture, College of Agriculture Engineering, College of Fisheries, College of Community Science, and College of Basic Science.   • Agriculture as a career choice

    The campus of CCSHAU Hisar, the largest agricultural university of Asia, is really good and it is approximately in 4300 acres. It’s a lush, green and serene place with a placid environment. The place is suitable for studies, sports and other extracurricular activities. Music, sports and debate clubs are there with a nice level of involvement.     My experience was very good during my entire course. The university is well developed, and infrastructure is also very attractive. The college is situated near the boys’ hostels, and it is easy for us to go to the college. The university is very neat and clean.
