IIT BHU is one the oldest technical institutes in our country started way back in 1919 to foster the scientific temperament in our nation. Our visionary founder Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya ji envisioned our institute to help develop a temperament of constant innovation along with humanism and the knowledge that education should be used for betterment of society. Academics here are really good providing us with large amount of flexibility ranging from branch change facility to minor and major courses. Research and foreign opportunities are also immense here. Our professors here work with ISRO in their space missions. Being an old institute, it boasts of a strong alumni network placing it among the top IITs of our nation. Facilities for students to explore their interests is immense ranging from dance to drama to literature you name they have. Sports facility is also very good having all sports.

Academics here are very good in IIT BHU. Professors are really nice and helpful and the administration takes care of all the issues and burdens we face in our Academic journey. The first year includes basic science courses along with other courses as well. Regular doubt clearing sessions are held by our loving seniors who are always ready to listen to our queries.

Professors here are highly qualified and perfect in their field of study along with this they are quite helpful and are always ready to clear our doubts and also, they are really friendly in nature and understand all our problems. Their teaching methods are also very good and provide us with necessary questions and they laboratory facilities are also great.

Placements here are great and many companies come here to hire from various profiles. Every year Placement statistics of IIT BHU is among the top in India.

Hostels in IIT BHU are decent and have all the basic amenities and also the mess food is very good they serve you clean and hygienic food 3 times a day. Along with they serve weekly Non-Vegetarian and Sattivc Food every day for non-Onion Garlic eaters.

Since our institute is one of the oldest in our country the infrastructure is old here, but it is in no way in bad condition everything is well maintained, and new buildings are also being made. On campus weather is a bit cooler than the outside city. And the lecture halls and classrooms are very spacious. Sports grounds and library are quite good, and Student Activity Centre has all types of indoor sports available ranging from table tennis to wrestling to badminton, squash and many more.

Campus life here in IIT BHU is very great. Everyone year we have our cultural fest Kashiyarta where artists from every sphere come and perform. And we also have Asia's largest Techno Management fest Technex. There are innumerable clubs some of them being COPS (Club of Programs), Film and Media Council, Literary Club, Dance Club, Cine Club, Masquerade Club, Astronomy Club, E-cell etc.
