Overall review about MANIT

Overall Rating
I joined this in 2022 in Civil Engineering and till now I have realised the professors in their fields are exceptional, some are really mind-blowing, but some are professors which are just okay or average but everyone out there just try to give their 100% and the hostels were decent with decent food and the greenery of this college is exceptional.
 

Academics Rating
In this institution the intake is through JEE Main, At least, you should have 60K rank in JEE Mains (for other state general i.e., open category) and 75K (for home state general candidates). This college offers a range of B.Tech courses starting from Computer science, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, and now they have started Mathematics in Data Science also. They also take students for architecture and planning UG courses. But for CSE, this is one of the best NIT.
 

Faculty Rating
Although I have mentioned that I have come across a good number of exceptional professors who have Studied from NITs/IITs. They have a unique way of teaching, and they also listen your problems too, but still some professors are just ok and average but the motive of all is same, and they will try their best to make things clear to you but at the end of the day. You will also have to put a significant effort.
 

Placement Rating
The placement of this college is nice, and best for CSE & ECE, although there are a lot of companies which come for core branches and pay well but some of the students don’t take, they just go for IT jobs or higher studies.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are decent, in the first year you will be allotted hostel 10 C-D, which are okay and mess food too. In second year, there are three hostels H1, H2, H4 out of which H4 is for students who have scored more than 8.2, H1 for 7-8.2, H2 for rest among them H4 is the best, and 3rd year and 4th years hostels may can vary as they have 8 hostels for boys. For girls, in the first year they live in H7 hostel which is quite decent and in second year they shift to H12 which is recently constructed.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this college is now outdated. They definitely need to renovate it, the department building, main building, some of the hostels are like hell, and the water facilities is also not very good in this college. Although it is one of the best NIT, there is no proper place for cricket and football, but they have a variety of indoor games.
 

Campus Rating
The Campus life of this college is ok because in the night very few of them move out from their hostels for anything and this college has a wide range of barren lands where snakes and other animals are common, but hostel life of this college is nice, clubs and societies are also very good. They have their fests which are one of the biggest of Central India and sports activities are also good in this college and above this you are getting a NIT tag which will help you everywhere.

    Overall Rating
    According to me, MANIT is considered the best for ECE and the sports facilities are also good. There are various clubs and societies for our overall personality development. One should consider this university because it has many opportunities for the students. There is an E-Cell which is considered to be the largest event organised in central India.     MANIT, Bhopal was established in 1960, and my experience here has been pleasant. It gives different kinds of experiences in the institute as well as the hostel. The institute has a diverse crowd with people coming to study here from all over India. It has a great infrastructure and facilities. Also, a hospital is under construction.
