Experience in JIS college

Overall Rating
JIS College of Engineering is situated in Kalyani and the availability is good, also it has a large campus area with great infrastructure. I am having a great experience in this college, whether it is campus, teaching and learning or extracurricular activities all are very good in this college. Many of my friends or relatives have gone through this college with great placement and that was my motive for enrolling in this college.
 

Academics Rating
I have admitted in this college through WBJEE Counseling with my rank of 34602 with general Quota and that’s why I haven't got any kind of special seat or quota reservation. My 4-year course fees are 470000 (Four lakhs and Seventy Thousand only). Many of my friends or relatives have gone through this college with great placement and that was my motive for enrolling in this college.
 

Faculty Rating
All the professors in this college have a great educational background with active way of teaching student and they will make your whole concept clear. For every subject you have two or three professors with a weekly of 3 or 4 classes for every subject alongside each subject lab. We even have a flip classroom where teachers give us task and we have to complete it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college consists of a total area of 18 acres and is located in Kalyani near the Kalyani Express. It has 4 department building and a physical as well as a digital library and have over 90000 books in it with lots of journals and have links with National and international Libraries and also linked with IIT Kharagpur.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is going pretty well as I am experiencing it. We have different types of Clubs like Photography and Short Film Club, Coding Club, Science and Environment Club, Art and Literature club, etc. We also have a separate common room for girls and boys where you can play different indoor games like billiards, chess, carom board and table tennis. This clubs organize different types of programs as well as fests and campaigns.

    JIS College of Engineering is accredited by NAAC. The NIRF Ranking of this college is between 150-300, which can be considered pretty decent as compared to the other college of the city. This College helps us to not only get ready to achieve our dream job but also helps to build conversational skills and others.
