Overall Rating
I chose civil engineering course in B.Tech in Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering. I chose this college due to following reasons: greenery around the campus, highly qualified faculty members, highly advanced labs with modern equipment, usage of digital boards for teaching, and well-built central library with a greater number of books.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursing Civil Engineering which generally deals about construction techniques for building houses, factories etc. and this course also deals about the properties of the materials. Entry requirements are the passing intermediate with more than 50 percent, cracking the entrance exam. Eligibility is to crack EAMCET exam with a good rank, passing intermediate with a good mark. Motivation is through working hard to achieve your goals and try to give your best at the entrance exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty Members for civil engineering course are good. For our course, we have 4 professors and 4 assistant professors. All the professors and assistant professors have completed the M.Tech and Ph.D from reputed institutions. For our course, we also have some teaching assistants who assist us while we have doubts.
 

Placement Rating
In our campus, we have a placement cell at our college main building with a well organised placement cell officer. For every batch, Placement cell brings Many companies to the college. Placement cell trains students for placements by conducting a placement training every year. Placement cell encourages every student of the campus for getting the jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Our college hostel is moderate with basic facilities. Our hostel building is surrounded by so many plants and trees. Hostel residence is not properly cleaned. Hostel washrooms and rooms are not maintained cleanly. In our hostel, we have playgrounds for playing indoor and outdoor games.
 

Infrastructure Rating
For our civil engineering branch, we have a separate building which is located besides the main building. In our branch building, we have administrative office of civil engineering, and we also have well equipped labs in the same building. The civil engineering Branch building is surrounded with greenery on 3 sides and on other side, we have large parking space for vehicles. At every floor, we have fire extinguishers for student’s safety.
 

Campus Rating
My college life thought me many good things about the life, and it also provided many opportunities for develop my career. All students of our college are enthusiastic. Every year, our college conducts cultural fests and sports meet. For every 3 Months, we have some interactive programs with successful people about their journeys and valuable lessons.
