Accomplish your dreams at IIT Mumbai

Overall Rating
It is best among all IITs. It was established in 1958. It is best in terms of everything from placements to startups and to business. There is a vast scope in research at IIT Bombay. One can make his career in research here. Placement rate here is the best among all colleges all over India. In terms of campus, we have a very beautiful campus.
 

Academics Rating
Academics here are too stressful for students of B.Tech. Students who are not comfortable in English face too much difficulty in academics. If one is comfortable in English than he or she can cope up with the academics. Curriculum is changing year by year so as to improve the quality of education, this will help student to gain practical knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
Some professors are very good, especially of core subjects. But some professors usually of first year have lack of teaching quality. They are very great, but they are not good in teaching. There is also availability of teaching assistant that are there to solve our doubts, they are also very helpful.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell at our institute; yes, it really helps the students acquire jobs in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
We have great hostels, the food in mess is also of very good quality and believes me food here is the best. There are showers in bathrooms. In final year the rooms are single room, and they are great.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have a biggest library in India. Here we have a separate reading hall also near library section. And we have reading rooms separately in every hostel. There are common room, TV room, and discussion room available in every hostel. Separate grounds are also in every hostel. And we have a main gymkhana ground which have all sports available and is of Olympic level.
 

Campus Rating
We have chaos, dominos, cafe coffee day, cafe 92 inside the campus. We have Asia’s largest fest Mood indigo, tech fest, E-summit. Many students from many colleges all over India come here to attend the fest and to perform here. E summits invites startup founders and helps them to raise fund and they also invite many good speakers.

    My life at IIT Bombay is quite different from what I used to think during my JEE preparation but it's just way more interesting than my expectations.
