Sultan Ul Uloom College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad was found in 1997 and affiliated to JNTUH, approved by AICTE and PCI. College has completed 2 decades of academic excellence. College is approved by UGC and accredited by NBA for B.Pharmacy. The college has distinction of producing 8 gold medalists, of which one is my classmate, a very bright and intelligent classmate, proud to be her friend and classmate year 2006. It offers courses in pharmacology, pharmacognisy, quality assurance, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical technology and pharmaceutical bio technology.

I had joined bachelors in pharmacy course in 2002, the eligibility was to clear a state competitive exam called EAMCET based on ranking you secure a seat, I was admitted on merit as minority student in college. The course is very well designed very much as per expectation, definitely this is a job oriented course and will secure a good job.

The number of faculties we had in college were around 10 to 13 lecturers. For various subjects in a course. We had around 8 lecturers at each time in a typical year, it's a 4 year course, and we had lecturers of experience ranging from 2 - 10 years experience, all the lecturers have taught the subjects very well and gave me a good basic understanding of all subjects.

We have a dedicated training and placement cell, continuous placement is provided for all the eligible students clearing the minimal entry interview formalities. Almost 70 percent received either higher education in the form of m.pharm or did a job at junior level in pharmaceutical companies.

As the college is in city centre the management does not provide hostel facility, but in the near surroundings in places like Banjara Hills, Panjagutta, Ameerpet lot of PG accommodations and hostel facilities with good amenities are available.

The college is located in the heart of new city of Hyderabad. The infrastructure is an ancient monument with Avery rich mogul heritage, very beautiful location and campus. Greenery throughout the campus is the unique part of campus. All basic medical facilities available in college. Excellent cafeteria and surrounding eateries are present in and near college.

Campus life is exceptionally cool, lovely and worth time to spend the college days for study, and have fun together. Annual celebrations in ramzan, annual year of college, achievement days are all celebrated. Lots of competitions like quiz, company tours, trainings, internships are part of college life.
