The overall experience is averagely good. The infrastructure is very nice and various canteens are present. Also shopping complex is present with all the basic facilities for students. The faculty is just like any other place some are good some very bad that they do not deserve to be in such university. The reason behind choosing this college was that I was interested in agriculture from beginning and this was the prime option under the given circumstances. I would suggest that there are various other better options available but if not them you can go for it well and good.

The eligibility for the course is 12th class or equivalent with medical or non medical stream. The motive behind doing this degree is to know the real farmer conditions as they provide ground base knowledge in the final year for which you even get paid. Also, as we known India is an agriculture based country so it feels nice to be close to the nature in studies. This course includes lot of subjects such as Insect Study, Soil Studies, Maths, English, Stats, Horticulture, etc.

The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. They are from various fields and have done PhD from various respected firms. They are JRF and SRF qualified and have been excellent in their work. Also, they run various research works side by side. Being so much qualified makes some of them so down to earth and some of them become so much arrogant.

Yes, there is a placement cell in the college, which provides jobs in various private industries up to 30000 per month and other perks.

Yes, there is residential facility for all the staff of the university and they get service quarters. For students, there are separate hostels for girls and boys. Although, the infrastructure is good but they were constructed years back so the condition now is quite bad.

The infrastructure of the college is very good as it contains various building for specific departments. A huge library is present with computer section and AC blocks. It has all the books related to agriculture. A huge auditorium is present namely IG auditorium with good lightening and sound system. DSW building is present. Museum for agriculture is present. Faculty club is present for special royal programs. A huge building namely Flacher Bhawan is present with VC office in it. Shopping complex, mini complex, hostels for boys and girls, separate agriculture land for experimental purpose, horticulture fields, etc. are present.

Overall, the campus Life is average as there is fresher's party organised annually which is no less than a fest as all the seniors and juniors are involved in it. Also, various programmes are organised by the NSS cell of the university. All sort of academic and non academic competitions are organised. For sports there is inter-college as well as inter-agriculture are organised at national level for sports. All types of sports facilities are available. The crowd is very nice as 5 colleges are present in the same university as the college such as science college of engineering, college of community science which is more than enough to make people feel joyous inside the university.
