Truth of CVR

Overall Rating
It is very good college among all peer colleges in Hyderabad. It has been placed among top 5 EAMCET colleges in Telangana. Nature and buildings are very nice and infrastructure IS good. The main thing I liked is we have a big cricket ground. Our college host EPL every year. The fee for our college is 150000 as per JNTUH.
 

Academics Rating
I took CSE in this college. To get admission into this college in CSE you should have EAMCET rank around 5000 for OC, 10000 for other caste. Our college also provides other branches like ECE, CSM, CSD, CSB. The main reason I enrolled in this college is placement. I can give 9/10 rating for college academics.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty for 1st year will be common for all branches. But from second year faculty of respective branches teach us. Faculties are somewhat strict during college hours but they will clarify all our doubts, without any hesitation. Many of them are PhD, M.Tech, and of experience about 6-20 years. Many of them are graduated from different universities.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our college has placement cell. Our college is well known for placements. This year college has been recorded with 95% of placement, average package is 5 lakh, and highest package is 5700000. Many big companies like Wipro, Amazon, TCS, Oracle visit our college during campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facility in our college for both boys and girls. The fee for boys is 100000 and for girls are 95000. Hostel is well-maintained and hygienic. They also provide us kits for sports like cricket for students who are residing in college hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure was good enough. Even though building is old but they are well maintained. We have big cricket play ground which host Engineering Premier League. Hostel buildings are new and equipped with 24 hours wi-fi and morning hot water. Every corner is covered under CCTV cameras. All the way, we have roads in college.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is very nice. We also have big canteen that provides many items. Many clubs are introduced for technical and non-technical events. Our college also conducts inter National conference tied up with foreign colleges. Ragging is strictly prohibited and attendance is taken very seriously.

The college follows very strict rules and regulations. My experience so far is mediocre. I like the college only due to its placements. But the college do not support daring attitude....     CVR college is situated near Ibrahimpatam Rangareddy. The campus is located away from the city which has peaceful environment. The way the faculty teaches is marvellous. Our college has large classrooms with good facilities. Lab is good well equipped with computers. Our college provides hostel facilities with good food and leaving rooms. Infrastructure is good....     I joined this college through EAMCET in 2022. My rank was 3819 and cut-off of for reservation was around 4500. I choose this college over sreenidhi and gokaraju only by seeing the track record of placement. This college has hostel facility and far from the city.     My experience at CVR College of Engineering was pretty basic only. If you don't have a scholarship offered by the state government then it will be somewhat difficult to pay the fee. The fee is around 1.5 lakh. It is best known for its placements. You will definitely get a placement if you follow the placement cell.... Read Full Review

    CVR College of Engineering is one of the top most colleges in Hyderabad. I got my admission to the college through the TSEAMCET exam. The placements in the college are very good.
