JGEC, A Dream College

Overall Rating
I think this college is decent college in west Bengal. You can get admission by passing WBJEE exam. I am now happy. This college’s placements are also good. I suggest to go for it.
 

Academics Rating
In this college, B.Tech and M.Tech are available. You can get admission in B.Tech after clearing WBJEE exam. Here are 6 Engineering departments such as Computer science, Information technology, Electronic and communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil departments. You have to get rank about 2000 to 3000 to get admission in CSE in general caste.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are very helpful and genuine. But you know that in all school or college some teacher’s behavior is bad. Some are very angry but it's okay I think they are very much helpful. Do not worry about attendance. Teachers are good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our colleges have a placement cell. And it really helps in our placement. In previous year from our college CSE and IT students all students got 100% placement. Top companies like Amazon visit here.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have 4 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. Hostel infrastructure is good and cleaning service is available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus academic blocks are pretty good. Building for our campus and the classrooms are very good. There is a library also. There is a state bank also here in our building.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is very good. In our college, many clubs also there like dance club, space club, Sports club, Jyoti club, etc. In our college 1 big is fest organised in a year named JECLAT. Singers come to perform. Many food stalls are there. And apart from this a fest SRISTI is organised.

    If you try to crack a good company so you should prefer Information Technology rather than CSE. Core department is not so good. And our alumni are very good and friendly.     I am an IT department student; I chose this college because in this department very less classes are conducted which is a benefit for me because I get time to stay in room and focus on my coding.     When I decided to take admission in engineering college, I was searching for a good campus life college with average placement. Then I found JGEC. It is located in North Bengal. Campus view is really enjoyable. The college is nearby Highway so travel distance is also good. Around 2-3 km you there are railway station and bus stand also.
