My personal experience

Overall Rating
My college was started just after the lockdown was over, so we didn't receive any fresher’s or any other induction program which was disappointing. I opted this college because it's near my home and at the time of Covid-19 I could not think of going anywhere else and also one of my father's friend elder sons has completed his engineering from this college only and is at good point in his career right now, so he also suggested this college to me.
 

Academics Rating
The entry requirements for course are Intermediate with at least 60% and PCM as primary subjects for engineering. You can take admission in this college through direct method from college's admission cell or through Jharkhand combined counseling. You also get some scholarship on the basis of your 12th Marks or your JEE Main marks also.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty student ratio is good as of now. Most of the faculties have completed their M.Tech and some of them have also completed their Ph.D. When talking about the style of teaching, some teachers are very good and are interested in teaching and they teach very well. While on the other hand some teachers are just there to take lectures and do their job, they are not at all interested in teaching.
 

Placement Rating
There is a Training and Placement cell at our college. The training and placement as of now doesn't do a lot for students. It helps in providing training to students of mechanical, electrical and civil branch through various nearby industries, but it hardly helps computer science branch in any kind of Training. Placements of our college is not very good, most of the students who are placed at good packages have got those packages through off-campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
There is a separate boys and girls' hostel in the college campus. The rooms of the hostel are nice and big. The students residing in hostel conduct various activities such as sports for their entertainment. As of now, there is a rule that after 7:00 pm no one will be allowed to leave hostel. The mess food is okay, not very good and not very bad.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are separate floors for every branch. There are specialized labs for practical and there are separate workshops for different branches. There is a library which also contains an e- library inside it. All the books related to the course are available at the library. There are specialised computer labs for different computer science subjects.
 

Campus Rating
There is a fest named Ullas which takes place in our college. As of now there are no clubs but soon, they will be started as we with our seniors are consulting to start few clubs. Every year Annual Sports takes place in our college in which various indoor and outdoor games competition happens. Students are also rewarded for their performance in annual sports and as well as fests. The only thing which lacks is the lack of educational seminars which would help us in getting placements.

    GGSESTC college is one of the renowned colleges in Jharkhand for doing B.Tech and M.Tech. It is situated in Bokaro Steel City and one thing that inspired me to take admission in this college is because it is situated near my home as well as it comes under JUT Board. I will definitely want students from Jharkhand especially from Bokaro and nearby place to take admission in this college as it is very good private college to one who really want to get benefitted from engineering stream....
