Overall Rating
NIT B, more commonly known as MANIT, is one of the biggest institutes in MP for engineering. Spending over a year in this college has been an overall good experience for me. Faculty is supportive here and other facilities provided are very good. Hostels are big, capable of handling over 5000 students in 12 hostels.
 

Academics Rating
Academics curriculum has been quite fast last year, due to late admissions may be. However, currently it seems to be good going. MANIT provides a wide range of course, but if primarily an engineering college. A person must clear JEE for B.Tech batch and in the same way GATE for M.Tech. Curriculum gives a complete development to the student in their respective fields and thus provides a good placement too.
 

Faculty Rating
In the past one year, I had interacted with a very good faculty. Here faculty is either permanent or on contract basis. Both of them are supportive. Those on contract basis are generally little more focus on their course but permanent faulty will also be helpful regarding other fields of development like in your projects and what not.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 12 separate hostels in MANIT, of which 2 are for girls. For the past one year, I have been living in the hostel 10 of MANIT. Hostels have been designed well and maintaining too. But there is a problem that in 2 bedded rooms, 3 students are kept in first year. Accept this fact; the hostel has given an overall good and a very joyful experience to me.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MANIT has a huge land area of over 650 acres. Most part is covered with forests and greenery. Infrastructure is impressive, like buildings have a good engineering and connected with each other with good roads mostly. Walking here at night gives a different feel. But since the campus is so big it cannot be covered just by walking. Students require bicycle or bikes, both are allowed till date.
 

Campus Rating
My Campus life had two parts till now, classes in the day time and hostel in the rest of the time. Both have been good experience for me. I made so many new friends in this past one year. Faculty has always been supportive so classes were always fun and hostel had a different kind of fun which I got to experience here. Campus life here is beautiful.

    Amazing place, good seniors, always an opportunity to learn something new. This college is all about unity, and within months you will see that all your batch mates have become your good friends. The seniors are always ready to help you. You can ask them anything related to studies. I m DASA student, I feel this college is good for a NRI. Moreover bikes are also allowed.
