IITK GOOD PLACEMENT

Overall Rating
I have good experience in IIT Kanpur as it provides very good opportunity to study. I choose this particular institute because this is the only college which has its own airstrip. This provides a very good opportunity for Aerospace Engineering. One more reason is that IIT Kanpur is the first institute which provided Computer Science Engineering classes
 

Academics Rating
For entry in Aerospace Engineering programme, the student has to clear JEE advance and in JOSAA counselling one has to choose B.Tech course, and Aerospace Engineering Department. This programme provides very good opportunity for Aerospace Engineering aspirants.
 

Faculty Rating
Currently Professor Supertik Banerjee teaches the Phy112 course and he is a very good profesor. His teaching style is very good and he provides his own notes and assignments which is very helpful for students in quiz and in exam.
 

Placement Rating
We have a placement cell in my institute. It is very helpful for students in acquiring jobs in the industry. IIT Kanpur has students in various fields and provides very good opportunity, that's why student easily get placement in IIT Kanpur.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have residential facilities in my institute. The hostel is very good and food facility is also very excellent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
IIT Kanpur has lush green campus, and in each room is air conditioned and it has one of the biggest library. The play ground is also very big and one can play almost all sports. Buildings have many floors and in campus roads are extremely strong and there are many trees of various type.
 

Campus Rating
In IIT Kanpur crowd is not too much. There are all types of clubs like film club, financial club, robotics club etc. and any student can choose any club easily. There are many fests organised of these three are most popular Inferno, Antaragani, Udghosh etc. IIT Kanpur also provides many opportunities for students for his/her future development.

    Although I don't like every aspect of the college due to its geographical location, the food, climate, hall facilities, etc., my overall experience in this college is good. It doesn't meet my expectations I had before coming to college in some respects. We are unaware of many clubs and activities which we are unable to know properly through any organised platform....     Overall Rating
    The overall experience of IIT Kanpur is good. Although currently I am a second year UG student at IIT Kanpur, but whatever I know it is quite good as compare to other IITs. The rooms in IIT Kanpur are not good. Water supply is not good, you will not find water everywhere in the campus sometimes you have to search it.     Firstly I chose IIT Kanpur because it was my dream.
