Nit durgapur is a good campus and hostel facility

Overall Rating
I knew that the biotechnology department is very good in NIT Durgapur, so I wanted to choose NIT Durgapur. In this college hostel facility are also good. Placement are great in this college and a lot of companies and organization visit for campus placement. There are 14 hostels, 10 for boys and 4 for girls. Hostels are very good in this Institute.
 

Academics Rating
I got 92 percentile in JEE mains. Here the institute offers UG, PG, Dual Degree, B.Sc. and M.Sc. also. To get selected in this college one has to clear class 12th with a minimum of 75 percent marks and should have cleared JEE mains + JOSSA counseling. In NIT Durgapur Machine Learning and Robotics is also good
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers in this college are very helpful. Biotechnology department teachers also have good knowledge of the subject and they are very talented and helpful. They are from NITs and IITs. The curriculum is relevant to the industry. They provide practical knowledge which is helpful to gain basic knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
NIT Durgapur provides good placement. Around 87 percent of student are placed every year. The highest package offered during campus placement is 59 lakh per annum in previous year and average placement of Biotechnology Department is less than 9 lakh. The recruiting company are Microsoft, JPMC, Samsung, Accenture, Cisco, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility is average in this college and two or three student share a single room. The quality of food in the mess is very good. Medical facilities are available 24 hours in this college. Sports and game facilities are good. In the hostel they have provided a table tennis, badminton and a huge playground. A gym is also available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In NIT Durgapur classrooms are very good. They have provided air conditioner and fans and sitting arrangements are also very good. Every classroom has a projector. Labs are well-equipped. Many books and journals are available in the library.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus is spread over 187 acres of land. The infrastructure is very good. Our campus has a good environment. In our college there are many playgrounds for the students to play sports. Buildings are well maintained and infrastructure is very good in NIT Durgapur. Hostels are cleaned daily.

    Firstly, NIT Durgapur is one of the prestigious colleges of India. Courses like CSE, Electrical, Electronic and Communication, Metallurgy and many more branches are there. For taking admission in this college, one should have to clear the JEE main examination with good rank. And also, in 12th 75+ percentages required for taking admission in this college.     The NIT is situated in not very distant part of the city, but it will seem like it because the college is spread over 187 acres. I have been on campus for more than 1.5 years and there are still some places that I haven't visited in the campus, well that another topic. The overall college is more than 7.2/10. The locals of Durgapur are nice and have great character, but some shopkeepers will try to scam you in the campus I don't know whether it is they have to or they just want to and that's the...     I would rate this institute 4 out of 5. As the institute has a good infrastructure, good research culture and a better campus life than most of the colleges. There are several facilities are offered by the colleges, later on I have mentioned it. But talking about the placement I think there are some NITs which provide better placement record than it at the same level.     As this is one of the top NITs of the country, so overall exposure and experience is good in this college, at first when we entered the college, the campus looked so nice and pleasing due to the weather out here and the most important factor of the campus- the greenery and the breeze.
