IIT Bombay is no doubt the best institute of India. Even in the world, it comes under 150 top institutes. It's not just a college, it's a place where talented and skillful students are made. Being a top priority for all top rankers of JEE advanced exam, it offers a lot more than enough to the students during their stay in IIT Bombay. Junior-Senior bond is so amazing here that literally everyone is so ready to help you at any point which shows the bright mind of students enrolled here.

I'm currently in first year of Chemical Engineering. First year courses are same for all i.e., everyone has to study all those courses. Some of them are pretty cool and easy to understand and score but on the other side, some are pretty hectic and difficult to understand and score, ex. MA105 which really requires a lot of practice and time to have a good knowledge of the subject. Chemical engineering is the most underrated branch, but it is the Best Branch of IIT Bombay after CSE. This branch surely has a lot of rising potential and the future of IITians in this field has always been very good.

Faculty members are one of the best here. Though depending upon students, some will like one as some will dislike some faculty members. Overall, the way of teaching is quite good and easy to have a grip on the courses if studied regularly. One thing to notice that the teachers are always ready to clear doubts which in itself a very good point but some teachers teaching with PPT and pointer using English all the time makes the content boring for students.

IIT Bombay placements are of no issue at all. Every year almost every student gets placed (though some opt for higher studies, and some go for startups etc.). Placement office here helps the students to be prepared for exams and interviews and helps the students in coordinating with the recruiters at every point. They also offer them sessions to enhance their skills. Almost all kind of companies come here to recruit students and mostly companies allow students of all branches to sit in the placements.

Hostel facilities are quite good, though some old hostels have small rooms and little space, but new hostels are pretty spacious. Mess food is, I must say most of the time is much better than any other college. They offer something in sweet or fruit everyday along with good menu of food. Playing areas are also very good in hostels. Every hostel has their own music room, dance room, yoga room, gym and other facilities.

IIT Bombay campus is very beautiful, lush green campus. It has a lot of greenery everywhere which gives much relaxing vibes. Also, the main building is quite big and central library is also very big and equipped with all kinds of books and journals for students to study. Each department here is connected via infinity corridor which makes it easier to commute from one dept. to another in very less time. IIT Bombay also has its own hospital which offers free medication to all its students and faculty members at no cost.

Campus life here is pretty cool. Another day, you will see a lot of activities happening around that you have to prioritize which one to be a part of and which you have to skip in sake of other one. Different clubs and teams organize their own events, hostel GC and INTER IIT is the biggest event that occurs. Also, hostels do Organises their own events and competitions for students to participate and enhance their skills. Fest here is Mood Indigo (no need to talk about it, as everyone already knows everything about it), it is the biggest cultural fest in India and south Asia as well. IIT Bombay also organises techfest and avahan, the annual sports event.
