College Journey of Sri Venkateswara University

Overall Rating
I chose Electrical engineering course in B.Tech at Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering. I have chosen this course due to following reasons, first is that our college has more than 25000 books at our central library. All classrooms have digital boards. In our labs, we have highly equipped equipment for performing experiments. The branch building is surrounded by greenery.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing Electrical Engineering which generally deals about Electrical components and their usage. Entry requirements: For applying this course, you need to pass intermediate with 75 percent marks. Also, need crack EAMCET exam with a rank below 3500 for a general category student. Eligibility: passing intermediate with good score and cracking EAMCET with good score. Motivation for students is to work hard to pursue their dream course. Try to study smartly for entrance exam and crack it.
 

Faculty Rating
For our Electrical Engineering branch, we have good faculty, and they are highly skilled. We have 4 professors and 7 assistant professors. All the professors and assistant professors have completed M.Tech and Ph.D. We also have teaching assistants, and they solve our doubts and sometimes they also teach the lessons.
 

Placement Rating
For placements, we have a Placement Cell with a well skilled placement cell officer. Every year, some companies will visit our college for placements. Placement cell helps students to acquire their jobs in Electrical sector.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our institute has residential facility for students. Hostel is moderate with basic facilities. In our hostel, we also have a cricket ground with nets for playing cricket. Hostel campus is surrounded by the greenery.
 

Infrastructure Rating
For our branch, we have a separate building with a good infrastructure. At our branch building, we have classrooms with digital boards. We also have highly equipped labs at first floor. Our branch building is located nearer to the main building. The building is surrounded with lot of trees and our branch has peaceful environment.
 

Campus Rating
College life is very good, and it helped me to learn lot of important things about career and life. In our college, we conduct a program called "Rhapsody". Every year where all students participate in sports and cultural competitions. Our college also conducts fests and meets every year. Our college also conducts Quiz and competitive competitions for recognizing the student's talent.
