Nightingale Institute of Nursing is accredited by INC (Indian Nursing Council) affiliated with the Chaudhary Charan Singh University which was established in 1966, is a renowned nursing college situated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, was founded in 2003. It offers 6 courses in nursing and medical. It trains future nurse practitioners, nurse specialists and scholars. It has collaboration with different professional medical organisations for clinical significance and conferences. The faculty, defining all nursing disciplines and enthusiastically supportive.

The admission is straightforward to aptitude test with an interview, document verification and fees clarification. And then rest we get to know by the orientation session on the first day of our college hosted by superiors.

I joined B.Sc nursing in 2017. With this course I can be the nursing educator, clinician and administrator. Academics start from September to August for the diploma course, and for graduation from July to June. Courses are provided at the institute are General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Diploma, B.Sc Nursing, P.B.B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing in MSN, OBG, Pediatrics Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatry Nursing subjects. Students are supposed to hold a minimum 80% attendance for the eligibility of exam. Regularity is a must and expected as well in the classroom, hospital and at fieldwork. Extracurricular, we get to attend further Local, National medical conferences and got to attend 10th Asian medical conference on emergency nursing with the international staff. We received the opportunity to attend the National Florence Nightingale Award for Nurses Ceremony conducted by Indian Nursing Council, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.

We have guidance cell committee of selected faculty members by Principal who looks after the student's problem corresponding to studies or other associated issues and solves it with full-fledged support. For the placement, it gives out to the designated hospitals in Delhi for all the courses. This Institute for clinical orientation is associated with Northern Railway Central Hospital, New Delhi, which is a zonal referral hospital and is recognised by the Medical Council of India. Here, we get to host our awareness programs, services and to perform the clinical exercise. And we get access to specialization wards for the better part of the practice. ESI Model Hospital, Noida, is a multidisciplinary hospital; this hospital allows participating in their medical health awareness programmes and motivates student nurse's participation.

Primary Health Centre, Bisrakh, for community health nursing field exposure. This rural area exposure allows us to work on community requirement and awareness programmes and acknowledging the basic problems affecting people in the community area. Fortis Hospital, Noida, in this super specialty hospital our seniors get postings for vivid examples. Metro hospital and Metro heart institute, Noida, in this super specialty hospital our superiors get access for the hands-on practices. Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Khichripur, Mayur Vihar, Delhi, is a general hospital and holds specialty in obstetrics and gynecology, where the access is given to the specialization students of post-graduation. We, students, get exposure to these sophisticated affiliates for clinical practices in rural as well as in urban areas for further interaction with patients and their responses, within proper clinical uniform and grooming. Practices are carried under prescribed Indian National Council (INC) syllabus

There are around 30-32 members of the faculty and are professionally experienced and participate in different levels of organization at local, state and national. Faculty members are cooperative and beneficial in clinical and theoretical services. At the clinical site, they ask for the presentations and further clinical requirements are covered after the demonstration and we get to perform on the consented patients, guided by them.

Faculty holds clinical, research and administrative stances in vivid healthcare agencies. They authorize us to host different annual celebrations with other health days, cooperatively. Lamp-lighting is a pledge of nurses which we take as a responsibility towards us and patients and not to merge the fine line between personal and professional sensitivity. After getting enrolled in the institute the occasion is honorably organized by the respective seniors and faculty members. They allow us to perform and seek correct guidance for the betterment and enhance our understanding and participation.

This Institute gives outplacement in designated hospitals which are Fortis Hospital, Max Hospital, Pushpanjali Crosslay, Sitaram Bharatiyatia Hospital, Apollo Hospital, Medicity Medanta. The placement percentage has reached 100% from 2010.

Hostel facility is for girls only. There are 33 rooms in the hostel. They allow 8 people in a room. For the security purpose, only parents are allowed whose photographs are on the hostel form submitted during admission. The out pass timing for hostellers is 7 am to 6 pm. Hostel facility is readied with comfortable and hygienic comforts. A wide variety of proper nutritious and hygienic food given to the students.

Hostel fees is Rs. 39,000 per year includes hostel 'mess fees and security fees. And the ones who are having clinical duties are preferred than regular classes on early mornings of the duties. College conveyance allows transportation to the clinical site for the hostellers and nearby day scholars too. For entertainment purpose, television cabled connection is available with other incorporating indoor games. And incorporates with the park furthermore. Students are allowed to go on out pass and night pass couple times a month after verification by parents. Hostellers are allowed to meet on Sundays between 8 am to 5 pm. If any student is ill an application is submitted by informing to warden and tutor and gets medical assistance. Ragging is banned in the hostel arena. All types of intoxications are forbidden. Hostellers get involved each evening with prayer and roll calls in person.

Under this institute, we get our involvement in Fundamental lab, here we get the demonstration of all medical procedures, Anatomy and Physiology lab allows to receive knowledge about the anatomy and body functioning, Community Health lab helps to understand the importance of community visit and what is the required statement which has to be inquired in the community setting. Nutrition Lab helps to know the nutritive experiment by cooking in there and to measure nutrients with innovative ideas and guided by lecturers. Microbiology lab accessed us to get a better knowledge of microbes and their behavior, Obstetrics and Gynecology lab helps to carry out gynecological procedures and Pediatrics lab helps to learn about the behavior of infants to adolescents. The viva during practical exams is carried out in the respective labs of the particular subjects with the involvement of the external examiners. Labs are well equipped with all the articles. Before performing actual procedures on the patients, we get to perform under the guidance of lecturers and professors in the respective labs to avoid any mishandling and invading any rights of the patients. Practicing procedures helps experiential learning. We have a cafeteria with well serve food and diner area. Attached with a park.

In the library, we are provided with a wide variety of many bibliographic collections, medical journals and magazines with recommended books which includes all standard citations, recommended by higher authority and professors. And also newspapers and magazines in regional and in the English language are available. The auditorium is equipped for further cultural events. Classes are well equipped with adequate ventilation and contemporarily smart class technology including over-head projector (OHP), LCD Projector. Computer lab service with well-facilitated internet service allows access to do research work and other computer learning for nurses' official work and can be utilized by teachers and students as well.

For sports and cultural activities, we have a Student Nurse Association (SNA) unit, which organizes debate, seminars, conferences, panel discussion, an exhibition with other cultural recreations like music, dance, fancy dress competitions with other health days like- world heart day, International nurse's day, world cancer day, world immunisation week, world liver day, world TB day, world kidney day, world blood donation day, etc. On blood donation day our college hosts a blood donation camp in which interested students gets priorly checked and made access to donate blood. The exhibition offers the latest update about different types of topics and conducted by seniors with different types of work models. The Student Nurses Association allows the celebration of regional festivals also, like Diwali, Onam, Pongal, Christmas, Lohri etc. We are given 2 sets of prescribed uniforms separately for clinical exposure and regular theoretical sessions. We have anti-ragging cell and is banned in college as well as in the hostel campus. The environment is free from ragging menace. This institute provides general medical check-up service once a year. And for hostellers, medical service is for 24/7 touched. It provides access to one of the affiliated hospital nearby

We have Student Nurses Association, and it is credited for hosting different sports and cultural programs. Other academic sports like quizzes, panel discussion, seminar, conferences, and debates. This allows us to polish our leadership skills and managerial behavior and tasks by accomplishing the event and manage time and supplementary.
