Honest Review about KIIT

Overall Rating
It is one of the top tier colleges of Odisha for any discipline or stream. Along with great reputation, the college has great placement record of MBA. The facilities here are top in class. The hostels and mess are also well maintained. On overall, it has everything that a student needs during the studies.
 

Academics Rating
Any graduate can apply for the course at KIIT website after the admission form opens. There will be an entrance test with a GD/PI round depending on the panel. Most students clear the process get admission without any issues. Staying updated with your given mail is important for further communications from the college.
 

Faculty Rating
There are enough faculties. Most of them are strict and give high value to the curriculum. The teaching method is good and easily understandable, but the curriculum activities will keep you busy all the time. There are usual semester and mid semester exams, and one has to study effectively to clear and get good marks.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in the college that assists students during internships and on campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel rooms are well furnished with 2 beds in each room. Hostel is compulsory for all students. Rooms and bathrooms are kept always clean. The mess meal is good, but the quality can be improved always. The menu is informed to students at the beginning. In locality there many PG's also available for students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is huge, and the infrastructure is top tier, the classrooms and libraries are well furnished and maintained with 24x7 access. KIIT Wi-Fi is available for students. Besides there are many parks and amusements along with gyms and canteens. All the academic blocks are maintained with great care.
 

Campus Rating
KIIT fest is the annual fest of every department of KIIT and Kolosseum is the annual fest of KSOM conducted around December every year. Libraries are well furnished with sufficient available books. Classrooms are also properly maintained and are provided with all the necessary amenities. Extracurricular activities are run throughout the whole in the university campus. There are many clubs for student's tech as well as cultural which one can go for.

  • KIIT was worth the time and money

    KSOM is not just about sales or marketing as other branches too are good. Of course, it’s a tier 3 college and unlike the IIMs or other big colleges the salary is 1/3rd of what students from those college receives. What important here is that placements are nice and if you are smart enough and have worked hard enough, you can get a job worth 8-9 LPA.     I was my class topper in 12th but my parents refused to send me away and I had to get admissions at one of the best Colleges in my hometown, Bhubaneswar and that is KIIT School of Management. The College offers BBA, MBA, and Phd programs. The strength of the College is comparatively low but the faculties are in numbers.
