Overall Rating
A quality college to pursue bachelor's degree, although the education quality is declining, still it's maintaining its head high and going strong. The Union and some other aspects are the factors hampering the environment, otherwise over all I urge everyone to take admission here, as it's an old and prestigious institute.
 

Academics Rating
Bachelor's and recently started masters are major things available in this college, when I passed out, History, Geography, Literature, Political Science, Chemistry and few other subjects fared, but recently more development has been done and new subjects have been added, for making the fields diverse.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty are experienced and well read, having done master's and Ph.D. from reputed Institutes; they help the students a lot, and ensure quality education is provided at any cost. The teacher student ratio is also good, so their behavior towards the students is also good which helps them shape their life and going forward.
 

Placement Rating
Placement doesn't happen in this college just like any degree college.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Institute used to have a big ground, but it's sold and all we have is a congested old building, the infrastructure is not that much good because proper funding is not provided, and no one cares about it. The laboratories are not properly equipped, so is the whole building, but still people call it their second home.
 

Campus Rating
Clubs are present but not with so much hype, elections take place, so do pujas and other things, various programs happen all throughout the year, so that students can showcase their talents and so on. The fest used to be of much hype, but it has stopped all of a sudden, so all we do is organize small freshers and farewells.

    My experience of the college was overall good but personally I didn't encounter any events so it was bad for me. Covid-19 was there and all the people were in quarantine and so was I.
