IIIT JABALPUR REVIEW

Overall Rating
The college life at IIITDMJ is very good. It comprises of various cultural and sports activities that enhance our college experience. There is a celebration of every festival which feels college like a home. Coming to academics and placements, the college has overall 22 LPA average package. The college has a great infrastructure.
 

Academics Rating
There are 5 branches in college Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Smart Manufacturing and Design and the admission through first four branches is through JEE and in design through UCEED. The Computer Science branch comprises of subjects related to AI DBMS etc. While ECE comprises of subjects related to electronics and communication. In design it is about designing things with our creativity and knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
There are well educated faculties who help in academic part of our college. Most of the faculties are graduated from IITs and has great experiences. Under every faculty member there are Teaching assistants members assigned who help students in every small problem. Furthermore, teaching faculties are very cooperative and passionate towards their work.
 

Placement Rating
The placements of college are very good. The college has an average package of 22 LPA while CSE has 26 LPA and ECE has 24 LPA average packages. And about 90 percent of students get placed in college and some of them are able to acquire high packages in abroad like one student from college got a package of 1.2 Crore in Singapore in cyber security as PPO.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are very good. The hostels are 1-seater, 2-seater, and 3-Seater. They are well furnished comprises of table, fan, and a bed.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus comprises of enrich infrastructure. Campus has an area of 350 acres which comprises of buildings of academics and other works. Campus has a library with all the books necessary for studies related to all topics of interests. Campus has an open air theatre where all programs are held. It has a lecture hall complex which comprises of about 50 rooms. It has an academic block where all problems related to college get solved.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of college is very good with full enjoyment and fun. Fests organized by college to refresh mind of students so that they can focus on their studies. Every festival is celebrated with full participation like Holi, Diwali, Janmashtami, Onam and many others. Awareness programs are also held in the college like Plantation Think India program and many others.

    The institute offers a variety of courses and has good placements which make it one of India's prestigious institutes. It has good clubs like Cultural Club, Technical Club and Sports Club in which students can participate and enjoy their institute life by gaining knowledge.   • My personal opinion about IIITDMJ
     

    Overall Rating
    IIITDM Jabalpur was really a good experience. I enjoyed a lot and gained a good amount of knowledge from the institute. The college life is good here. The main thing I love in the college is interaction between the seniors and juniors. The culture of the college impressed me. I choose this college because of three reasons. One is my JEE MAINS rank and other is the average package and median package, and the last one is the faculty due to their qualification from well known institutes.... Read Full Review

    Well if you go by placements then this institute has better placements than most other NITs which you would get at the same rank. After spending a year I can say it has a very good environment for both your personality development and overall growth. You will have good junior and senior bond and can ask for any help from your seniors. The college life is good and satisfactory; you would enjoy the festivals a lot.     I am a 1st year student at IIITDMJ. I am overall very happy with my experience at the college. The campus is good and spacious. The hostels are pretty good compared to other colleges. The mess food is average. We only have vegetarian food in the mess, but from April 2024, non-veg will also be served in the mess. The faculty that have taught me so far, have been good. The crowd is also good. There are five branches in the college, there are about 600 students in our batch. So it has a bigger crow... Read Full Review
